Finally,An All-In-One Record Player Worth Owning!
This is truly a remarkable piece of vinyl and blue tooth,plug 'n' play audio kit. Both worlds...analog and digital...the old and the new.I have owned this unit for almost two months and have put it through all its paces. I even connected it externally to my vintage Onkyo stereo receiver,Infinity bookshelf speakers with an Optimus graphic equalizer in the audio chain to unleash the sonic beast that hides well within the boxy confines of this retro-contemporary-modern and somewhat attractively classy looking record player. Yes,there is an audio sonic capability in this record player unit that is dying to show you its full potential beyond just its diminutive 2-way built-in-speakers.Afterall,it boasts the popular and very reliable performing AT3600 cartridge with conical stylus from Audio Technica;It is a night and day far cry in the best way from that of the cheap ceramic cartridges included with the Crosley or Victrola suitcase players. AESTHETICS: If someone tells you that when they purchase audio or stereo equipment that looks or aesthetics don't matter,I've got an igloo home in Arizona to sell you. Just as I like decent to good to outstanding quality audio gear,as a very visual person and color pencil drawing artist,I want gear that will also be pleasing to the eye.Case in point: I had been eyeing the competitor to this record player,the Mykesonic variant with remote control...even the non-remote control smaller Mykesonic version for the past 2-3 years,but never pulled the trigger on it,even after a couple of credible YouTubers' glowing and high praising performance reviews about it. However,I almost did buy it and would have regretted it had I not seen the 1ByOne unit in a quick Amazon flash ad coupon deal...one of those "if you like this, you might like this" type deals.The 1ByOne caught my eye like a gleaming bright jewel.The Mykesonic,not so much.It is awkwardly and unappealingly homely and cardboard box-like.Totally utilitarian black box.Mundane ...Even with the "cool" optional side panel color choices of green,yellow,or dark blue,you can't hide homely. Enter the 1ByOne record player with Bluetooth and remote. It's a very attractive and pleasing to look at audio piece that no one will be ashamed to display proudly and that will tie or blend in nicely with practically any home decor,if you're into that,too. The faux wood appearance looks surprisingly convincing as real wood from a decent distance.Gotta love that grain,also.The fake glass-like plastic or wet shine plexi sheet trim covering the top plinth with dark printed patterned edged sides adds a very neat touch.The aluminum or metal textured control knobs look and feel solid and NOT plastic cheap,including the tonearm. The light gray protective grille cover for the speakers adds that right amount of modern sleekness with the well lit power and mode circular light in the middle.The four feet are adequately sized and look very uniform stylistically for the record player's overall look.The dust cover looks nice with its smoke colored tint.Although,for some,a clear plastic or plexi option would have been also welcomed. Bottom line,faux materials or not,this unit looks like it costs more than it actually does.The color combination scheme is visually stunning,if you think about it. The manufacturing designers did an outstanding visual job. SOUND QUALITY & SPECS: As a stand alone unit, the internal speakers are very well adequate and up to the task.There is good overall audio clarity,decent slightly tipped upward mids,the presence of some bass,but,nothing earth shaking...The bass is decent for its size.Placing the unit in a corner of a room enhances it.The unit can play LOUD.There is a preset DSP EQ chip or circuit in the unit.Basic terms,it means that there are no separate bass,mid or treble tones to fiddle with to adjust the sound;The system's been optimized by the manufacturer or engineer to get the best possible sound from it internally as intended.It's tuned to play and sound precisely as it should without distortion or sounding tinny or blowing out the speakers. It is loud and will fill a room the size of a dorm to a den with music aplenty.No harshness or bright ear piercing highs that would ear and mind fatigue most people with decent hearing. What I hear is a tad rich and lush overall tonal quality...It's definitely enjoyable. Vinyl will sound warm and natural and not exaggerated.Clicks,pops and ticks are hardly noticeable with clean and decent vinyl(not sure if the DSP digital circuit is responsible for somewhat cleaning up the sound). IF you are an audio tweaker or tinkerer and remember the days of tone controls and graphic equalizers,fret not.You can equalize the unit,despite its built in DSP processor,when streaming from Spotify or Amazon,etc. by using any free EQ app if your phone does not have one already installed(some newer Android or Samsung phones don't have a software EQ app anymore).Google Play Store has many. An EQ'd Bluetooth streaming capability or option will enhance the sound of the 1ByOne unit. Also,connecting the unit via its rear RCA white and red output jacks with RCA stereo patch cables connected to either separate active speakers or a stereo receiver will demonstrate just how GLORIOUS the record player will sound with both vinyl and Bluetooth streaming! Specs-wise, the pitch or speed of the platter runs a little above the regular and precise speed of 33.3 rpm. Mine runs at close to 34 rpm(33.7 rpm)as tested with an rpm vinyl speed app and what my audiophile trained ears can hear, but not significant enough for most casual listeners to notice.Some manufacturers will adjust motor speed to be slightly fast in pitch to compensate for the weight of the vinyl and the drag force of the stylus in the groove.With adequate break-in time,the belt tension eases up just enough to begin playing at the precise 33.3 rpm and 45 rpm speeds. Wow and flutter is decent...I can detect or hear no warbling or unsteady piano notes in classical recordings...nothing more annoying than hearing musical notes unnaturally wavering to the ears and mind. Love this record player!
I rarely leave reviews. Something needs to be exceptional (for the money) for me to spend time doing it. I'm a huge music lover and own over 300 CDs but because of Spotify I stopped listening to all of them because of convenience. But last year I just missed the connection to physical media. I never got into vinyl when I was a kid so I thought I would give it a try. I started buying some last year and just fell in love. I told myself I wouldn't get over 50 albums (just my favorite ones for nostalgic reasons). Well now I'm 150 strong and growing. It's a thing now. haha. I love it. Ok, I'll get to the review now but I had to set that up a bit. So... last year I bought a 1 by ONE record player (B086WTSMQH) based on the reviews. I wanted something that wouldn't take up a lot of space and I figured with excellent compact speaker technology now I could find a record player that sounded amazing with a built in speaker. For the price I was really impressed by the build quality and sound quality of the 1 by ONE. I never regretted my decision at all. My daughter started getting into vinyl so I purchased a few different record players (not 1 by ONE) with built in speakers. I returned them all because the quality (sound and build) were just horrible. I couldn't convince her to get the same 1 by ONE record player (B086WTSMQH) I bought because she thought it was too old school and simply didn't like it aesthetically but loved the sound. I get that. People want what they want. However, after returning a 3rd record player (based on aesthetics that fit her) she was open for a much better one but I waited... Ok, now I'm getting to this record player. I wanted to finally get her a good record player for Christmas. So I did some searching and saw that 1 by ONE was releasing this fully automatic record player so I bought it for her. She loves it and I do too. They actually improved the sound quality even more (but the other one still sounds great) and the auto features are just fantastic. I loved this auto one so much that I bought one for my office, where I spend most of my time. There's so many times where I may get a call and I have to politely say, "one moment while I stop my record player." Haha. I didn't mind so much but the fact that I can basically pause, repeat, skip forward or back and change volume with a remote (or on the player) with this new version is just incredible. I still love the other 1 by ONE player so I put it in our living room so we can listen to our vinyl there. I can only imagine I'll get another one of these for that space too if we use it a lot in our living room. I'm sure I have more to say but honestly if you need or want an all in one (speaker & player) and are tired of really horrible sound just get this one. Or if you want to save a little money buy one of their non-auto ones. I know this sounds like I'm trying to sell something but take it from someone that has purchased 4 other record players and returned them all because the sound sucked.

Pleasantly Surprised!
I've had this record player for a month now and I must say I am pleasantly surprised by the sound and the quality. Having owned a high end turntable, speakers, and amplifier some years ago when records were a staple in every household we no longer have the desire or space to dedicate to a similar system. This player does everything we need it to do without taking up precious room. It has plenty of volume and fills the house with music from our favorite artists. The auto feature and remote have worked flawlessly and Bluetooth connectivity is quick and easy. We caught this unit on sale from Amazon which was a big plus! Overall a very nice looking, great sounding, space saving machine! Highly recommend!

Replay is the best part for me.
I have a Sony Bluetooth player that I use to transfer my records to my computer or to a flash drive. I bought this because it has internal speakers and mostly for the repeat feature. It was packaged like an Egyptian mummy, which was nice, but it looks great and sounds even better. I recently got back into vinyls and this is a great compliment to my cd's and cassette tapes. I also like that it has a remote control, and the replay feature means I don't have to stay close by or rush to it when the album is about to end. It was well thought out and is a great buy for the price.
