Pretty colour red. Not sure that it is 100% cotton as stated on the site.
This hat is a beautiful shade of red. It fits well and can be styled in a few ways as shown . The colour is the same as shown on my iPad. It is a tight knit and seems to be a warm hat. I have decided to revise my review after wearing it a number of times. The package stated that the hat was cotton but there was no tag sewn into the hat giving details as to the composition of the fabric. After wearing it in the cold weather, I noticed that it is comfortable and keeps my head warm when outside but I am not sure that it is cotton. It has a synthetic feel and my head gets too hot when wearing in a store, even for a short time. I think that a cotton hat would be more breathable.

Doesn't make me itch like acrylic/polyester
I cannot wear anything but cotton - even when it's snowed and well below freezing - as they make my head sweat and itch. I'm talking a very icky, unbearable and uncomfortable itch that seems to spread like a rash to where parts of my skin not under the hat also begin to itch. These - I got a plum ("purple") one for my kid - are perfect! They aren't too small, even after washing and drying. I appreciate that they keep my head warm when it's freezing without being 'hot' when it's warmer. Wish they were less expensive but I suppose 'fabric' that's literally the same material as a trash bag is cheaper and these seem to be a nice quality of cotton.

Perfect and Doubles as a Sleeping Cap
I love this cap. Because it is 100% cotton, it is perfect for warmth but does NOT cause sweating. It's long, so I use it at night, to keep my head warm in bed, and pull the brim part over my eyes, so it doubles as a sleep mask. I have two of these. I use them at home because my husband is so overweight that he has to keep the house freezing, even at night, and I use them for travel, because hotel rooms are always so cold at night.
