The size is perfect for framing 8:x10" or smaller. The clips are finished in a dark bronze and have a ridge in the center for extra strength once installed. The screw size is a phillips #1 and I would recomend a pilot hole for ease of installing the screws. Perfect for my students learning angle cuts and making picture frames. Great value!

They have more than one use
I did not buy these for a picture frame but instead used them as clamps for my cat fountain as they were pulling out the water tray with their claws. This idea worked perfectly and I no longer have water all over my floor. Just a different way to use these thinking outside the box
