Fills a backyard with ease and the bass boost mode is genuinely impressive​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

I have owned a few portable Bluetooth speakers across different size categories and wanted something that could actually fill a backyard or outdoor space without struggling. This one is clearly built for that job and it delivers. The sound output is genuinely impressive. At high volume it fills outdoor space without distorting and the bass boost mode takes it another level further, adding real low end that you can feel as well as hear. I keep bass boost on by default because the difference is that noticeable. The Bluetooth connection has been rock solid with no dropouts or reconnection issues, which matters more than people realize when you are outside and moving around. Battery life is strong for the size and it charges back up quickly depending on what you use as a power source. The form factor is worth understanding before you buy. This is not a speaker you slip into a bag or carry casually. It is bulky by portable speaker standards, though surprisingly light given how much sound it produces. Think of it as something you carry to a location and set down, not something you wear or pocket. The one thing I wish it did differently is remember the bass boost setting between sessions. Every time you power it on you have to turn bass boost back on manually. It is a minor annoyance rather than a dealbreaker but worth knowing if that kind of thing bothers you. Bring the party anywhere!

Growing up with a boombox in the 70s and 80s, this is a quality version of those great flashback devises. This rugged speaker measures and weighs as described, making it easy to carry around or place on a table or desk without being too intrusive. The size to sound ratio is what it seems – bigger size equals louder sound for parties and/or outdoor setting vs. the “personal” speakers filling just the space around you. The bass to treble ratio is a plus because the bass is not overpowering at all. The speaker is easy to connect with Bluetooth and accepts various formats such as wave files (USB) and MP3s with ease, too. Plugging in a microphone for a sing-a-long is another bonus. Going for the full party effect, the changing and flashing lights are the perfect addition. Living in Florida, outdoor life, especially near pools and the beach, this durable and portable device is the perfect way to play your favorite playlist anywhere. Love this speaker, it has all the connectivity you could need, it's portable and sounds great

Where do i start, I wasn't expecting to like this speaker as much as i do. It's a little bigger than a basketball, it has a handle so it's easy to carry around and doesn't weigh much which is a plus. Easy to use and power on. It has just about any audio port you could ever need and in addition to that you can insert an SD card so if you don't want to hassle with connecting a cord then you're still covered. It's super easy to use, I first tested it out as a computer speaker, i plugged in the included speaker wire to the aux port and it worked instantly. Functionality is very good. It's also battery powered so you can take it out on the deck, or if you are working in the garage or a utility room you can just bring it with and listen to what ever you want. Really happy with this speaker, and if you're into RGB this has you covered too. The audio is a little on base side of things so that might be something to keep in mind. The price is very good because the quality is good. I really like to colors as well; looks really sharp outside on the deck.

Punches above its weight

For as small and convenient as this thing is, it bumps. It’s about the size of a soccer ball and has a built-in handle, so even though it’s big enough to put out some massive sound, it’s still easy to lug around. The battery life has been great, too. Just hooking it up to charge at the end of the day hasn't had me ever wondering if it'll last. Thankfully its waterproofing hasn't been tested yet but I'm glad it has it. The RGB lighting is a cute touch too. The sound is definitely punchy and gets impressively loud, though it's of course going to be subjective with its EQ. I love bass so it works for me but an audiophile might be annoyed. Love that it accepts AUX, BT or even an SD card so I've always got options. It feels durable and rugged like it could stand up to a kicking but I'm not going to throw it off a cliff anytime soon. All-in-all, a really solid purchase for the price.
