Nice looking bag that will take your laptop and accessories and protect them from minor bangs
This is a nice looking bag. Most of the pockets have a padded lining with in a plasticy feeling cover. The main pocket is split into two, with the 2nd section being covered in a microfiber feeling fabic, which will help protect tablets from being scratched. In terms of size the 13.3" version was just a little too small to fit my 14" HP Chromebook into the microfiber section, but it fits perfectly in the main section. An 11.6" chromebook fits just fine. There is a large pocket on one side that's a bit narrow; could hold papers (passport, plane tickets, that sort of thing, if this is your carry-on). This side also has a strap to hook over a handle (eg of a telescopic suitcase handle). On the other side are two pockets; one has a pen holder, the other an elasticated pocket. Both of these can hold accessories (charger, cables, etc). The zips are unbranded, but move smoothly without catching. The sides are padded to protect the contents from light bangs. The base is slightly padded to help protect the contents from drops. The carry handle is wrapped in a leather-like material to provide a smooth grip. There is also an adjustable removable shoulder strap; this isn't padded at all but we're not dealing with heavy equipment so this shouldn't be a problem. All in all, I like this bag.
