Overall these seat cushions are fairly thick and comfortable to sit on, but the main reason you get them is that the heat up. They do have a tendency to heat up really fast and hold the Heat with three different options of temperature. While it would be a nice addition if they had a charged battery so you didn't need to have an external one it's not a deal breaker. There was thought behind that as there's a nice pocket that can hold your battery Bank and simply plug into it. All of the stitching seems reinforced and well done, the material is thick and durable, and it's easy to take from one place to the other as a built-in carrying handle. Overall great for outdoor sports or even sitting on the patio as the heat is mainly from the top so there is some protection from the bottom.

Yeah the cushion is junk, but it lights a fire under your rear and keeps you warm on those cold nights watching your kid play football, band, etc. Everyone has a spare battery pack and it doesn't need a monster pack for a game's worth of heat. You could easily get by with a 10,000 mAh pack or get a 20k for an all night bun warmer. If you fanny is a cushion destroyer, than stuff it with your own filling or put a pillow under it. We've used it a couple times, I'm 230 and yeah, that little foam is going to make it about a season or two. But hey, it's cheap and can be be re-stuffef or tossed. Anyway, that's my rant.

Seriously fantastic for hip/back/sciatic pain
I have been using one of these cushions for six weeks now, and it is amazing even without using the heat option. I have bad hips/back and bad sciatica and it's incredibly difficult to get a comfortable seat and footstool setup going. This cushion has literally helped my sciatica and hips more than ANY other combo I've tried yet and works perfectly. The heating element only adds to the therapeutic quality, and it's just the right amount of firmness without being too soft. It is an excellent purchase and i truly highly recommend it for anyone with painful hips,back, sciatica, etc. It would be a super gift too!
