Great way to get to really know your partner
This is a fantastic book that couples should share! I wish I had it before my last relationships fell apart. In the early days of a relationship, you can uncover potential stumbling blocks that will eventually pop up. It is best to have a discussion of these topics (600 questions) before the problem gets a bit heated. These 600 questions will get to the root of potential problems in your relationship. For those who have been in a relationship for a while, there will be some AHA moments likely. That would be a good time to acknowledge that other couples are in the same position as you two are, and talk a while about why one of you feels differently about an issue. Remember to keep the questions in a hypothetical universe and not be accusatory, though. I really like this book, and will keep it handy in case I get another opportunity of the merry-go-round of life!

What a blast!
I randomly selected this book and thankfully my husband wanted to follow it too. What a blast we've been having! We laugh, we contemplate, we imagine, we clarify, and we explore. A fabulous way to spend some time each evening. We've learned a lot more about each other even after 26 years of being happily married. The author's questions are so creative! We're doing this slightly differently from the author's intention in that we select a question or two from one section per day, then circle back to the first section and select the next one or two questions. It's going beyond the 30 day challenge but I think the author would be content to know what a powerful experience it's been. My personal advice: Stay open, loving, kind and nonjudgmental...that's where the real growth together happens.

Very engaging
This 30-day challenge is very engaging and also very useful, with the strong possibility of being good fun as well. It is a deeper topic, however, and has the capacity to foster understanding between couples. Even if a couple has been together for years, there is an enormous amount of realizations they can come to by using the questions in this book for a better understanding of each other. The section about exploring your partner's love language raised a smile for me simply because of the quaint description. I would have categorized people as Visual, Auditory, or Kinesthetic. However, "love language" makes it much less clinical. It's a great book and I can't wait to start the challenge.
