Fully adhesive, sticks well, waterproof
These are nice pocket covers. Please note that they are 10.5 inches, so 12 inch nameplates will require trimming-they’re wide enough for the larger size ones, but not long enough. They are similar in thickness to pouch laminating, but, of course, do not adhere to the tag itself. The slit to insert the tag is on the back, and there is adhesive on both edges. If you want to be able to replace the tag later, leave the short side unstuck-it’s not as waterproof, but will let you swap out. They are durable and seem likely to last-I’m using one on an outdoor trinket box and it has held up to some heavy rain. I do suspect a student could work their way through it with a pencil or ballpoint pen, but I’m not sure that any pouch would hold up to a dedicated student trying to get through it! For index card size, simply cut in half. If you want extra reinforcement, or to swap out, consider laminating your cards before putting in the pocket, but I don’t think it is necessary. I plan to use these on the back of my music stands to hold student name plates in the fall.

These are a generous size and overall a good thickness of material. They seem sturdy and like they will hold up to use. The stickum is strong.
