I ordered this set of stacking block toys for my cousin's children to play with when they visit my house. They are 3 and 5 years old so they are just the right age for this set. The blocks are made of well shaped plastic in bright, vibrant colors. They are all square or diamond in shape and fit together in a variety of ways that are easy enough for the 3 year old but offer enough of a challenge to interest the 5 year old. The toys resist toppling so the kids can build them fairly high. I am happy to have these blocks around for when my cousin's kids visit. I don't have many toys for them. The ones I do bring in are ones I hope will be both engaging and enriching. This block set seems to fit all my needs and it isn't huge so it's easy to store. It even comes with a blue, drawstring storage bag. The kids have enjoyed them so far, which was the real goal.
