Beautitul looking lamp to have in your home that also functions as a candle warmer. I know that if you haven’t discovered that these are all about, you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how they warm up your scented candles and instead of burning the wick down, the heat of the bulb melts the wax to release the scent. I have found that this has helped retain the candle wax in my experience so I am heating a full candle every time, not one that has melted down halfway (like that which happens with a lit candle). You can adjust the height of the main stand to accommodate differently-sized candles. The shade itself is really pretty - a beautiful coffee/amber glass that brings a cosy warmth to any room when the lamp is switched on. The base is mahogany-effect but not sure if this is wood or not? I would have liked to see this base offered in different colours and finishes to match other decor. There is a switch on the cable with which you can control the brightness of the bulb (see my video as I change the setting) and also set a timer so that you do not forget to switch it off at night (if you are inclined to do that). This would make a lovely gift with a few jars of scented candies for someone you know likes to burn them normally.
