Sturdy and functional
My first impression on unpacking this laptop stand was that the manufacturer didn't cut any corners on the build quality. It feels very sturdy, the adjustable joints stay a the height and angle where I put them, and the pivot feels smooth and perfect. I had two main use cases for this: using it side-by-side with an additional monitor, and using it with just the laptop front and center at my desk. And I was really happy with both! With the side-by-side setup, it was easy to adjust the laptop to be at exactly the height and angle of my secondary monitor and it stayed where I put it without and of the adjustments loosening up over time or from the occasional cat giving it a nudge. With the solo setup it was easy to adjust the laptop to the eye level I wanted while I used an external keyboard and mouse to interact with the system. When I wanted to adjust my chair it was easy to adjust the angle of the laptop stand or pivot it to the side. Overall I'm completely satisfied with the laptop stand. It helps with ergonomics and aesthetics and the black one blends in nicely with my black desktop. For the currently listed price of $39.99, this seems a bit more expensive than some of the competing products with a 4-star and up rating. I'm going to give the vendor the benefit of the doubt here and not dock a star for value since they made a quality product and didn't cut any corners, but if you're a budget shopper then it might be worth checking out some similar products.

This is a high quality laptop stand. It is adjustable for any arbitrary angle as well as height, there are no knobs you just pull it in t or push it down to change the height or angle. It is pretty hefty in your hands but it feels like good quality and durable. This particular model also has the base that swivels 360° so once you place your laptop on the stand you can if you need to adjust laptop direction. For my needs that is not important because I will keep it pretty much in one constant where you need to look at the laptop monitor but also sometimes rotated to the other direction if you're sharing screen with multiple people. It comes with matte black or silver color. To help dissipate heat from under the laptop it's top player has many wide cutouts so that's it allows for air circulation and a laptop not overheating when sitting on this stand.

Great stand for laptop
I got this for my Mac and to replace a criss-cross stand that used to fall apart on a slight jerk. This stand is really well built. It is quite tight, allows me to keep my MacBook at any angle and orientation, and is rigid enough that I can open or close the MacBook while on top of it without worries of the stand changing its angle. The stand is really well built, and TBH, it was a delight to see a well-built and machined tool in these days when most things are full of cheap aluminum and polymers. The stand provides rigid stability to 13-17-inch laptops. Best of all, it looks premium even when there is no laptop on top of it and looks great in both home and office settings.
