Great frames for this price point...

If you're like me, you don't want to pay a lot for a basic, black, 8x10 frames. Especially if the frames aren't going to be placed where they won't be closely (or frequently) inspected. With that in mind, I had these frames on price watch and recently purchased them when the price was sub-$10. It's really hard to find wood frames in this price range--which these aren't--but these frames do seem very well made, and the material is smooth with clean lines. The inserts are also glass--even if it's thin, pretty sharp-edged, and has some unremovable marks on it, which is relatively rare in this price range. Rarer yet are the twist-closures that ensure the backs stays closed, which is really great for ease of use and quick picture/photo changes. These frames also have two pre-attached sawtooth hooks (for hanging horizontally or vertically), and an easel back stand for free-standing use. BOTTOM LINE: Great quality, well-packaged, basic, non-wood frames with a glass insert, twist-closure rear opening, and 3 display modes (using the attached sawtooth hooks or the easel stand). Likely less durable than real wood, but shouldn't be an issue if it's not placed where it will be frequently handled or knocked over.

These frames are solidly built and easy to install posters and prints into. The plexiglass shield is attached to the frame body which is critical for repeated use. Some other products out there do not have this feature and will fall apart or collapse if you don't handle them just right when inserting a print. The rotating clasps on the back work well for repeated use and are far superior to bendable (and breakable) metal tabs. I have a bunch of movie posters I display in our home theater area and I often swap them out to change the look/feel. These frames put up with all that handling and have served me well for several years now. The packing can be variable. On one shipment I had two of the frames damaged, but as always Amazon came through and made it right.

"Basic" done elegantly

Very simple, yet attractive frame with depth that adds elegance to its appearance. The brushed nickel finish is faux, but nearly indestructible. The frame is incredibly well made with corner brackets that will survive a great deal of abuse. See attached photo. Inserting the photo is easy and straight forward. The "clamp in" backing is better for securing the photo than a slide in back as it does not allow the photo to slide downward over time. The 2-pack is appreciated as I was able to put photos of both of my grandsons in identical frames. HELPFUL HINT If you chose to hang this on the wall, leave the nail or mount sticking out at least 3/8" so that the "easel back table stand" does not "get in the way" and make it hang awkwardly.

Best picture frame I've ever bought!

Wow, I am pleasantly surprised with this picture frame! I ordered the 8x10 size in black. It is Miles better than other, more expensive frames I have ordered from other sellers. The frame itself was extremely sturdy, the glass very well made, and my favorite part was that it was so easy to insert the picture. I know with some frames they make it difficult to remove the back part, but this one was incredibly easy. And the fact that I got two frames for the price is actually kind of amazing. I'm not buying any other picture frames going forward. Highly recommend!
