The sizing is all over the place, but it's a great shirt for cheap

I can see why this is an often returned item, because the sizing is laughably inept. I first got a Medium, and I could have sworn it was an XL. I'm about 5'9" with 36 to 38 shoulders, slender athletic build, and I normally wear a medium, and seldomly a small. But considering just how huge the Medium was, I went straight for the XS, which fits perfectly. It makes no sense, but that's probably why they keep putting this item on sale for less than $20 -- cuz nobody is getting what they expected. Fabric is buttery soft and well made, no sign of pilling. Works great as a light second layer over a base, and fits taut enough to comfortably put a jacket over it. I knew I wanted a second one after being impressed with how the XS fit. Cut and two-pocket design is flattering for those with broader chests and shoulders, but will likely feel baggy on lanky builds.

Good Bang For Your Buck

These Amazon flannels are quite nice. I tried them on a whim since they were cheap and I was buying some new clothes anyways, and I really like them. They aren't heavy, so they're good in the Fall or early Spring. They fit well, although I noticed some variation in fit across the 3 I own. Nothing super drastic, and given the price I can excuse it. They have a nice simple look to them and they are of surprisingly high quality. Not designer or anything, but they don't feel or look cheap. I like that they have plain natural/earthy colors available, as it doesn't stand out too much while also looking clean and not exactly like every other flannel everyone has on around you. They make for nice work shirts or as a really light jacket when it's a tad chilly. I'd recommend them if you like the style.

Super Comfortable and Fits Perfectly

This is a super comfortable shirt. The material is moderately thick, very soft, and sufficiently warm for winter wear. It is sized perfectly all around - not excessively large or baggy, but enough room to layer a long-sleeved shirt underneath if required for additional warmth. It is cut almost like a slim fit, but with a little bit of extra room that makes it not feel tight. At 6'1" 215 lbs, I got my usual size, a large. Straight out of the bag I put it on a hanger, and it pretty well de-wrinkled on its own before I wore it for the first time a few days later. And at $7 on a deal, this was an absolute steal!

Excellent Shirt, Very Good Quality!

This shirt is of excellent quality, love the thickness of the material. I usually were a large, and purchased an olive colored shirt. I thought the sizing was a little tight because I usually like to wear a thermal shirt underneath during the winter. I ordered and received an XL olive shirt which is perfect my needs. I love the shirt so much, I immediately ordered one in burgundy, and if they had one in black I would buy that too. My son is also happy, he is now the owner of the large olive shirt I originally purchased. Excellent shirt! Please, please, please make one in black.
