Perfect for long days when on the go
Slim and compact which is perfect for carrying if you’ll be out on a day trip. This is much better than having to carry a larger and heavier power bank. It doesn’t get very warm when I’m charging my iPhone 15PM via MagSafe. If I charge my iPhone by USB cord as a typical power bank but not attached by MagSafe, it does get warmer but it will also charge faster. You can leave this attached to your iPhone by MagSafe but charge using a USB cord if you hold on to the button for a few seconds. Charging this way does leave the battery almost coffee cup hot. It seems the battery gets hotter with wired charging and when attached by MagSafe, the extra warmth from the iPhone itself makes the battery hotter like a cup of coffee for comparison. Not dinging Anker for this since all power banks get warm to hot when charging. Note that all power banks can’t charge a device at the power banks’ maximum capacity since there’s some energy loss (about a third of the total capacity) when charging a device. This is noted in a few of the product images but not really detailed in the description. The compact size, portability, and MagSafe/Qi more than makes up for this since I really only need this for long days where I might not have access to a power outlet or on the go without having enough time to plug into an outlet. I don’t need to recharge my phone 100% and the Anker Nano Power Bank provides more than enough to get me through a long day. The white case has a matte finish. The sides appear to be aluminum. I avoided the black one since photos from other user reviews show a lot of finger prints and smudges. Build quality seems really solid. Magnets seem pretty strong; stronger than the MagSafe puck sold by Apple. It can rotate with enough force when pushed from the bottom corner but there is an alignment magnet. Otherwise, it attaches pretty securely with MagSafe. It’s as secure or more secure as any MagSafe accessory made by Apple. Only minor caveat is that it can be easy to accidentally press the power button if the power back is attached by MagSafe and you’re holding and using the device. This will disable MagSafe charging. If it stops charging and you know there’s power left, just press the button again.

Best travel MagSafe Charger
I recently purchased the Anker Nano MagSafe Portable Charger, Ultra-Slim 5,000mAh, and it has quickly become one of my favorite everyday tech accessories. The compact design and reliable charging performance make it incredibly convenient for keeping my iPhone powered throughout the day, whether I’m commuting, traveling, or simply away from an outlet for extended periods. One of the first things I noticed was how slim and lightweight the charger feels. It attaches securely to the back of the phone with MagSafe, making it easy to use while still comfortably fitting in a pocket or small bag. Unlike bulkier power banks, this one maintains a sleek profile that doesn’t add unnecessary weight or thickness. Charging performance has been very reliable overall. The 5,000mAh capacity provides a helpful boost when my battery starts running low, and the magnetic connection stays firmly in place during use. I also appreciate that the charger delivers consistent power without overheating, even during longer charging sessions. The build quality is excellent, which is something I’ve come to expect from Anker products. The materials feel durable and premium, and the minimalist design looks clean and modern. It arrived well-packaged and immediately gave the impression of being a high-quality accessory. Another feature I appreciate is how simple and convenient it is to use. There’s no complicated setup involved—just snap it onto the back of the phone and charging begins automatically. It’s especially useful when traveling or during busy days when carrying cables around can be inconvenient. After using it regularly, I’ve been very satisfied with its reliability and portability. It keeps my phone charged when I need extra power most, and the ultra-slim design makes it easy to carry everywhere without noticing the extra bulk. Overall, the Anker Nano MagSafe Portable Charger, Ultra-Slim 5,000mAh is a dependable and thoughtfully designed portable charger. It offers reliable charging performance, excellent portability, and premium build quality. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a compact and convenient MagSafe-compatible power bank for everyday use.

Slim, reliable, and incredibly useful for travel
I gave this power bank 5 stars because it has been one of the most useful travel accessories I own. The biggest strength is how slim it is. It does not add a lot of bulk, and even with it attached to my iPhone, I can still fit the phone in my jeans pocket without much trouble. I have even carried it as part of an everyday carry setup because it is that easy to bring along. Perfect for travel This really shines on long-haul flights, airport layovers, and day trips when finding a working outlet is not guaranteed. It has saved me more than once when I needed extra battery to get through a long travel day. It is also great for trips where you are constantly on the move and do not want to worry about your phone dying halfway through the day. Strong magnetic hold The magnetic attachment is strong and secure. It stays in place well and does not slip around, which makes it much more practical to use while walking around or traveling. Performance It charges my phone quickly and gives me enough extra battery to keep going when I really need it. That alone makes it worth carrying. This is one of those products that really comes through at the right time, especially during travel. One minor drawback The only downside I have noticed is that the power bank itself takes a while to recharge through the USB-C port. For me, that is not a deal breaker because the portability and convenience more than make up for it. Bottom line For the size, portability, and convenience, this is a great value. It has been especially useful for flights, airport layovers, day trips, and even longer travel situations where reliable backup power matters. If you want a slim battery pack that is easy to carry and actually practical to use every day, this is an easy 5-star product.

A really great portable charger
Works great with my Samsung Galaxy S25 in a magnetic case. I love the small form factor, which means I can keep it on my phone to charge while I'm using the phone when I need to. It also means it's incredibly easy to take any time I leave the house, not just when I travel. It does get pretty warm, but I find that keeping the phone face down helps that a lot. And of course using the phone while it's charging makes it hotter. One note if You're like me and you've never used one of these: there's a small button on the side that activates or deactivates the magnet. I thought the magnet had died because it was no longer attaching to my phone. Then I randomly held the button down and it snapped right back on. It's a useful feature now that I know that it's there, so I don't leave the magnet on when it might be near swipeable cards in my bag. Funny they don't mention anything about that in all the product images, but now I know.
