Versatile tote/backpack hybrid

I was so stoked when this Antler tote backpack arrived the day before my weekend trip! It was everything I had expected from this British brand: excellent quality and thoughtfully designed. Made of durable easy to clean water-repellent material, sturdy zippers, a laptop compartment, and a large capacity, I can already tell this bag is going to become my go-to travel companion. I had already packed my usual duffel bag for the trip, but I was so excited to try it out, I ended up repacking everything into this bag instead. Things were a little tight, but I made it work! I was able to fit 2 days' worth of clothes (including pjs, socks, and underwear) easily inside the main compartment, along with a small toiletry bag. My wallet and accessories went in the inside zippered pocket, and my phone in the front. Unfortunately, that left no room for my water bottle, as the bottle holder is located inside the packed main compartment. While I love having an interior bottle holder, I do wish there was an additional external one as well. But that aside, I was very pleased with how well this bag worked for me. For reference, I'm 5'4 and petite, and the size of the bag fully packed is just perfect for me. It sits comfortably against my back, distributes weight evenly, and is compact enough that I can easily stow it under an airplane seat. It's also the ideal size for commuting. The backpack straps are adjustable and can be removed and tucked away into the back pocket when I want to use the bag as a tote. Overall, another win for the Antler brand! It's one of my favorites for travel accessories and has yet to disappoint.

Versatility Is the Name of the Game – This Bag Does Everything

Versatility is 100% the name of the game with this one. This isn’t just a backpack or just a tote, it’s both, and it actually does both well instead of feeling like a compromise. You can carry it like a handbag, throw it on as a backpack, or slide it right onto your luggage handle when traveling, which is honestly my favorite part. That feature alone makes airport travel so much easier and cleaner. The design is very well thought out. It looks clean and professional enough for work, but still casual enough to use for the gym or everyday carry. It doesn’t scream “gym bag” or “office bag,” it just works in all settings, which is rare. The laptop pocket is a big plus and fits nicely without making the bag feel bulky. There’s enough space to carry what you need for the day, whether that’s work items, a change of clothes, or travel essentials. It’s organized without being overcomplicated. The quality is where this really stands out. The material feels durable and high-end, not thin or flimsy. It holds its shape well even when packed out, and the stitching and straps feel like they’re built to last. This is one of those bags you can tell is going to hold up over time instead of wearing out quickly. What I really like is that this replaces multiple bags. Instead of needing a separate backpack, tote, and travel bag, this kind of covers all of it. That alone makes it a great value. Fun, well made travel companion...

This is a version of the tried and true backpack with all of the versatilty of something you can fill and sling over your back if you wish. But it also has tote style handles and can be carried that way without looking like a backpack at all. It's a clever trick. The material is something called ripstop which is synthetic, richly colored and tough. It is also quite water resistant (though not quite 'waterproof') and will serve you well in rainy weather or dry. I do wish the top zipper was flapped to provide a bit of extra protection.from the elements. A sleeve allows you to stick this over the handle of your rolling luggage where it will sit securely while you wheel it through wherever you are going without making a nuisance. You do not have to wrap the straps or tote handles in odd and insecure ways to get this to stay right where you put it. Hardware is nicely turned out and snaps securely. There is room for a laptop and plenty more. Even filled to the brim with a weekend's worth of clothes it will fit comfortably under your seat or in the overhead bin. Well made by a company which I am familiar with and respect.

Well-made, stylish, and versatile. Love it!

Wow, such a stylish, versatile bag that is perfect for traveling or for every day carrying! First of all, it is really well-made, with the stitching and finish being top notch. It is unisex, so both men and women can carry it with style. It can be carried like a backpack with comfortable straps that can detach and be tucked in the back pocket to transform it into a pretty tote if you wish. It also has a band on the back, perfect to fit on luggage handle. The inside is roomy, all student or office gears (books, laptop, etc) can fit in. It has a padded pocket inside where you can slide your laptop, or, if you prefer, you can slide it in the outside back pocket if you are using the bag like a backpack. This is the ideal bag for travel since it is so versatile with three different ways to carry it…. It can be attached to luggage easily, can become a backpack for hiking or touring around, and can become a nice tote for shopping excursions. I love it and so does my daughter who asked to burrow it for her upcoming trip to Japan. I highly recommend it.
