Top tier and highly functional backpack from an iconic brand

I travel constantly and that has made me downright obsessive about the quality of my bags. It doesn't matter whether it's a suitcase, computer bag or a backpack I'm extremely demanding. This 'Urban Light' backpack from ANTLER is not only one of the best designed and most durable backpacks I've experienced it's also a perfect fit for how I use a bag of this type. That last part is extremely important--a bag needs to be made well but it also must adapt well to how you'll use it. Not long ago, I bought a high end bag that came strongly recommended. It was nearly indestructable but it just didn't do what I needed it to. I knew it wouldn't work when I tried it for the first time and was directed to the company's website so they could explain how their 'packing system' worked. It might be great for outdoor use but not for travel and remote work. That's where this bag is so excellent--everything is straighforward and utilitarian. It's generously sized (17 litres) but weighs less than two pounds. There are all sorts of pockets, pouches and other storage but they're versatile enough that they don't require any sort of video tutorial. It has a dedicated laptop bocket, a back sleeve to slot over your suitcase and a main compartment that opens completely 'like a suitcase'. Not surprising since ANTLER is a downright iconic British luggage brand that has been making travel bags since 1914. It's great to have a water bottle holder but not every nook and cranny in a bag needs to be specifically customized. The material is a recycled polyester which offers light weight, water resistance and durability. The zipper is smooth and substantial. This is a backpack that might not be what you'd want for a week in the woods but is 100% perfect for dragging through an endless series of airports and hotels. It's made to adapt to how I work and doesn't force me into a packing 'system'. Very highly recommended!!

This backpack is absolutely stunning! The craftsmanship is beyond impressive. The moment I took it out of the dust bag, an excellent feature, by the way, I knew I'd be wowed. The backpack is incredibly well-made and durable, and the material feels so superior. I love its modern, simple design; it possesses a subtle elegance without being over-the-top. As I get older, a sleek look is so much more appealing than an assortment of mesh side pockets and multiple zippered pockets. This bag is perfect for an adult! The backpack features a well-organized arrangement of zippered, well-sized mesh pockets that let you see what you have without digging around. There's also a well-padded section for your laptop, along with a spacious main compartment that easily accommodates an extra set of clothes (think gym or travel), books, or anything else you might need. It also has a back sleeve to slide over your suitcase handle for travel, and a top handle for grab-and-go. I particularly love that it's made from recycled, water-repellent polyester ripstop fabric that's incredibly lightweight. Additionally, it looks beautiful, and I believe it'll stand the test of time! This backpack is perfect for work, travel, or the gym, and best of all, it's designed for adults—not just for teenagers! It's absolutely beautiful and worth every penny!

Well designed backpack with a lot of interesting features

This is a well designed backpack with many organization options and interesting features. It is a 17L pack, perfect for daily use - taking to the office or to school. First look this backpack looks like a panel loader style backpack - the front opens fully down to expose the main compartment as one unit. This type of design makes packing and looking for stuff easy. However, if you are in a crowded space, library, office, you may not have room to fully open the backpack clamshell style. This backpack has two side “wings” that can attached via snap closure. Leaving them in, and the front flap will open open a little more than half way. In this mode, you can look for items inside the bag while the bag sits up on the floor or table. This is a great feature. The laptop / device compartment is at the back. It is generously sized and fit most large laptops. There are two sleeves for laptop and small tablet. The laptop pocket is suspended and padded. The front wall of the main compartment has additional zippered and open orgainzation. The front half pocket is secured under a flap and a zipper. That is a quick access pocket that is also secure. The fabric is a recycle nylon with water repellant coating. While it will not hold up in stormy weather, it will repel light rain for 5-10 minutes.

Super cool STURDY backpack with pockets galore

If you are looking for a high quality sturdy backpack with lots of convenient pockets I highly recommend this backpack. One of the things that I really like is the fabric which the backpack is made from. I would describe the fabric as smooth and super classy. My husband is a surf photographer and while this isn’t a camera bag per se he uses it to put all his camera do dads in it. My husband’s favorite part is that the backpack is super sturdy and it keeps it’s shape day in and day out.. This means that it holds its shape even while getting a ton of wear.
