After years of trying to find good blue-blocking glasses, I am thrilled to have found these!
These Max-protection, dark orange lenses are the right blue-blocking lenses!! Back in the nineties there were television ads for "Blu-blockers" sunglasses. I bought a couple of pairs and loved them. The lenses really did block blue light, which is very helpful for preventing eye-strain. Then they went away and I couldn't find them anymore. Update: They are still available but are still plastic frames and cost $50. Bleah. I have tried may others and they work a little, but not as well as original blu-blockers. Then I got these and they are bang on! If you suffer from eye-strain, especially if you work on computer screens all day long, then get you some of these with the max-protection. They are really really good. It will take you a couple of days to get used to them but push on through and wear them all day if you can. Your sleep will be better and your headaches will subside. If people ask why you're wearing sunglasses inside, they are NOT SUNGLASSES! They block blue light and help your eyes relax. I bought the metal frame versions and they are very high quality. I am going to buy another pair to keep in my car, and also buy two of the lighter "night vision" versions for night driving.
