Must Try!
These things are fantastic!!! I don’t know how it took me this long to discover “steam eye masks” but I’m glad I did, although I’m not at all sure why they’re called steam masks when they are merely heated. Maybe moisture if your eyes sweat? I don’t know, but they do not produce actual steam, if you are expecting that. I was not, so no disappointment there. I have now tried expensive ones, mid priced, and these much more affordable masks. These are the ones I will be re-ordering. Here is my take (and that of family and friends I’ve shared with): The cons are the same on ALL the brands I tried. Those cons being that the smell is - basically kind of yuck. It is definitely not a spa or essential oil scent. Old lady powder/soap type scents, all of them, across all brands. Not nasty per se, but not nice either. This is also very subjective and just my own opinion. The behind the ear design of ALL of them isn’t my favorite, but it would probably jack the price up to do differently. Just is what it is - probably won’t bother most people. And that’s it for cons. These things are lovely. So relaxing, and this brand heats every bit as well as the expensive ones and, oddly, better than the mid range ones I tried. I found them all to last about the same, but I nearly always fall asleep, so I can’t be sure and will have to pay more attention. I think these are the hands down winner because they work just as well at a fraction of the cost!! For single use items, that matters. So nice for use on tired eyes, for relaxation, for a warm compress when needed for eye issues, for headaches, for travel, and I’m sure the list goes on. Wonderful gift idea! I can’t imagine anyone NOT liking them! Even my super rough around the edges husband will sometimes use one when I offer. Kudos to this brand for making them at such a nice price point and for keeping the quality on par with expensive brands. I suppose one could say the expensive ones feel somewhat better in terms of technical fit, but honestly not by much. As far as how they actually work? I think you’d be hard pressed to feel a difference. By far, this is the best purchase! Try them!!

I tried the rose scented ones and they felt very soothing and relaxing. The warmth was gentle and comfortable, not too hot, and it helped my eyes feel less tired before bed. I also liked how easy they are to use and that they come individually wrapped, which makes them convenient for travel or keeping by the bedside. Good price for amount of masks. They work pretty good and long- more than 40 minutes. It is interesting feeling. But very comfy. Very good to use it in the winter to warm up the face.
