A massive upgrade over grocery store candles.
I usually just grab whatever cheap Glade candle is on sale at the grocery store, but I wanted something a little more relaxing for my home office after long days of working and streaming. The lavender and eucalyptus scent on this Bersiler candle is fantastic. Because it uses an 8% essential oil concentration (which is higher than most standard candles), the fragrance actually fills the room without smelling harsh or artificial. WHAT STANDS OUT: • The natural soy wax and cotton wick provide a very clean burn with absolutely zero black smoke. • At 7oz, it easily lasts 40-50 hours, blowing standard grocery store brands out of the water in terms of longevity. ONE MINOR NOTE: To get that full 50-hour lifespan, you really have to stay on top of your wick maintenance. Make sure you trim the cotton wick down to 1/4 inch before each use, or the flame will get a bit too tall in the jar. THE BOTTOM LINE: A premium-smelling, long-lasting candle that is absolutely worth the step up from basic drugstore brands.
