outstanding product
UPDATE. i have now had this product about 6 months. I think i charged the battery about twice. i have read the reports here that some folks have key sensitivity issues. I am not sure if i have this issue or not, but I do not really care a lot. I use it a lot, and get months on each charge. Its durable. i have fallen asleep on it for instance and it still works just fine. This continues to be in my estimation a highly recommended product, and a bargain in its price range disclaimer. I was not paid to write this review. I bought this product just like everyone else. Indeed i am using my keyboard right now to type this review. This product seems to be excellent. I do have 1 question about it which I will get to in a moment. I also have 1 pet peeve about it, but its not related to the product. I use my home TV as my computer monitor, and I like a wireless keyboard due to this, then I can have my computer anywhere. My one and only complaint about this product is that some times, if i do not have a table to sit it on, it is a but strange to type with. My recently departed microsoft wireless had a small hand rest and at times this could use one. But I wont hold that against this excellent product. I do not know how long the battery will last on this, i have seen some claims of up to 6 months. It does have an on and off switch, which is less common these days. My mouse for instance has an auto powerdown if it is idle for a while. I have only owned this about a day, so i have not tested this one to see if it is similar. If not such a feature would be a nice addition, but truth be told a button is nice too. m EDIT. Upon reading answers to previous questions, the manufacturer reports that this product does go to sleep after a certain period of time. I will still use the off switch tho... better to always be sure. The range appears to be superior to my old keyboard. With that if i got more than about 5 yards from the computer, the USB would start to fail. The occasional character would drop and by about 8 yards it was pretty much pointless. Not so with this product. With this I sat as far away from my monitor as I could see it, about 10 yards from my computer, and it functions perfectly. By far the most impressive thing to be about this keyboard is its small size and lightweight design, yet it does not feel cheep. It is light as a feather, but the stainless steel back gives it a sturdy feel. i have it resting on my lap right now as I type this and its like its barely there, but it still feels solid. Also due to its light weight yet sturdy construction, its excellent for my laptop bag. This keyboard also looks nice. I know, its a keyboard. How nice can it look? This one though was made to also be visually appealing. The portions of the board beneath the keys is every thin, about like my cell phone. The battery appears to be at the top, there is a rounded end that holds up the keyboard and likely contains the battery, transmitter for the USB connection, charging port and all the other goodies that make it go. It is good that as minimization increases, more companies are starting to return a focus to aesthetic concerns, and this keyboard exceeds my expectations in this area. If you look at the image, it just looks like a flat keyboard with most of the necessary functions. And that is why i bought it... i wanted an inexpensive functional USB keyboard. I wanted a functional keyboard for a reasonable price, but it also has style points for how it looks. I expected a flat black keyboard from the image, and I did not get that. in this case, its a good thing. There are 2 minor drawbacks. Once again this wont stop me from giving 5 stars to this excellent product. The first is that the keyboard claims to be quiet. This is not the case. it is not horrid or offensive, but my now dead microsoft keyboard was 10 years old if it was a day, and was more quiet when typing. Second, the charger cable is too short. It would be great if it had about another 2 feet. My hope is that the reviews i have seen so far that this can be expected to be used for 6 months on a charge this will be minimal. For the price that was asked for it, it would be hard to find a much better product than this.

Long Charge - nice feel
BATTERY LIFE I waited until I had to charge the keyboard before writing up this review. I received this the first week of December, charged it, and now this is 3/20/24 (almost 4 months later) and I am now charging it for the first time. I actually forgot that this was a rechargeable. I was looking for the battery slots and then remembered I had to plug it in. The keyboard light (red) lightning bolt had come on a few times but I figured I would just wait until the battery went dead. Then just a moment ago, I couldn't type any longer. As soon as I plugged it in where it's getting a charge, I was able to start using it immediately. I like that I can also turn it off when I go out of town so that it preserves the battery, although, admittedly I sometimes forget about this features. I use this keyboard daily as I do trading in the morning and I also do consulting work. I'm a techy person and just enjoy being on the computer. ERGONOMICS I personally love the feel of this type of keyboard with shallow keys that I can feel being pressed. I used to have a bluetooth HP keyboard that felt like this and went out, causing me to buy this one. It has a full keyboard and number pad. I use the Fn lock so that the volume, play controls work since I don't use the regular F keys as often. CONNECTION I had no issues connecting this to my computer. I plugged in the usb dongle, turned it on, and my laptop found it immediately. VALUE As of today, 3/20/24, this keyboard is only around $25 and I think this is a great value. CON The only con is that it isn't spillproof. My last keyboard, I accidentally dripped coffee onto it and it quit working. I believe this one will be the same, so I am trying to be very careful. Mine shipped directly from Arktek and arrived right away. It's been a great keyboard and I truly recommend it.

*6 stars I Prefer this to $250 Keychron (one of the highest rated keyboards around)
I’ve had this keyboard for 5 years, after much abuse it’s finally decided to start having some issues. I’ve spilled stuff on it, accidentally sat on it, bending it, smacked the absolute crap out of it while gaming, I’ve really beat this thing up. 5 years it’s served me well. It still actually works! But the numlock keeps rapidly turning on and off on its own, and the battery is shot. I spent a good year not using it so I’m sure it drained completely. Prior to that I basically only used it to log in and then hopped into vr so it wasn’t used much daily. Anyways, I thought now that it’s time to get a new keyboard, I should join these mechanical keyboard folks! Sounds great right? Everyone says it’s the best! So I do some research, and found the keychron q1 he, supposedly the best keyboard around right now that has wireless HE. And while I must say, it’s certainly a premium product with a $250 price tag to match, I’ve already begun the return process and I’ve ordered another one of these. The keys feel so good imo. Most keyboard people hate on membrane keyboards, but man this one just feels good! It’s nice and poppy despite being membrane, I don’t feel any of the “squishiness” that I hear about regarding membrane. I feel like my key presses are instant, but tactile, and most importantly, I game on my couch, so my keyboard is on my lap, and this just works so damn good for that setup. So sorry $250 keychron, you guys make an amazing typing platform but it just doesn’t compare to the reliability, ease of use, and durability (I have never cleaned it once except for when I spilled on it.) that this keyboard has for literally 1/10th the cost. I’m sure if I was a typer I’d love that keychron, but I’m not, I’m a gamer, and this games great. Amazing product.

Stop looking, stop overthinking and JUST GET THIS.
GET THIS. I needed something quick because my keyboard failed in the middle of a workday and I didn't have time to look too deep. This had 3-hr delivery for me (delivered in 2). I DON'T REGRET MY CHOICE. Very light even though the bottom is metal. This keyboard is very, VERY low profile all around. The keys are flat, and the keyboard itself is almost flat to the table that there's no need for a wrist support. As a matter of fact, I don't move my wrist when I type in this, it just flows, it's smooth. My biggest pet peeve is hearing myself type -THIS IS QUIET. I'm amazed at the quality given that its cheap ($33). I own lots of keyboards, and I when travel for work, I bring my own and depending on the type of work I'll be doing, I'll have a keyboard for it (yes, I am that person). This keyboard deserves the thousands and thousands of 5-star reviews it has on Amazon.
