Very Nice Affordable Paint Set
Nice Selection of colors. I purchased this set for my granddaughters and they love them. It is a great beginner watercolor set that is a big step up from the super cheap childrens watercolor palettes. The colors are well saturated and blend well. This set includes pearlized and neon colors which the kids like to use quite a bit. The hinged tin is sturdy and has a nice clasp to close tightly. The set also included a nice little brush set, a water brush and sponge. On top of that the set came with a quality pencil, pencil sharpener, and eraser for sketching. Additionaly a plastic mixing palette that fit nicely into the lid which is able to be seperated . I like that for the children especially. Its so nice to find quality sets in this price range. They all fit nicely into the tin, which makes this wonderfully portable.

Cute, functional, and colorful
I've been really happy with this set. It turned out much better than expected. The brushes are good quality and the paint colors are vibrant. Next time I'll get more of a variety. Even though I thought these would be enough I find myself wishing I had more to choose from. If you're good at mixing water colors this may not be an issue for you, but I really struggle with it. I keep a jar of water and a paper towel handy and it cleans up easily. There's a couple of the darker, more pigmented colors, that stained the brushes after a long painting session. I think it's great for beginners and more experienced painters alike.

Quality set for beyond a beginner.
I am a beginner when it comes to watercolor painting, but these have been great so far. I’m able to mix colors and they create some pretty artwork. I like the variety of colors and the brushes that come with it. The only thing I did not care for was the plastic mixing tray. It makes the colors bead up and not mix well, but that was not a dealbreaker. I just bought my own porcelain mixing trays and they worked perfectly.
