Great entry point for the aspiring audiophile.
I am relatively new to vinyl collecting. I did a lot of research before deciding on this specific model. I chose this model because it is the happy medium between quality and convenience. As you get into more expensive turntables, you get higher quality parts like adjustable counterweights for dialing in the arm pressure, upgradable cartridges, etc, but you lose features like automation. A lot of more expensive turntables don't even automatically stop when the record is done. I know myself well enough to know I would not be observant enough to be ready manually raise the arm the moment the record is done. This one is fully automatic and sounds great. The stylus itself can be replaced but not the cartridge that holds the stylus. This cartridge is built in, but is a high quality. Another reason I went with this model is that it has RCA jacks, not built in cables, so you can use quality rca cables. It also has a proper grounding screw to ground it to your amp or preamp to eliminate noise. It also has a built in preamp that you can turn off if you are running it into an amp that has a built in preamp (it has dedicated phono jacks) or you are running an external preamp or you can turn the built in preamp on if you are running it straight into powered speakers that don't have a preamp. Anyway, if you are just getting started on researching turntables and are looking for the middle ground between quality and convenience, this is the one for you.

Amazing player that’s easy to upgrade.
Amazing out of the box performance even with the Blue VM95 Stylus. I will be upgrading to Red ML Stylus eventually, but the sound is great for now. With the option to swap stylus’ with any of the VM95 series in minutes is an amazing feature. The table spins at a steady speed, and the auto play/stop feature is smooth. This has a built in phono preamp, but I had the tube preamp laying around and I like the warmer tube sound, tried the built in and it sounded fantastic as well. Would purchase again, recommend this if you’re on the fence.

Love it! So fun to get back to vinyl!
Couldn’t be happier with this turntable. I’m playing LPs that I bought 40+ and which I haven’t touched in more than 30 years as I switched over to CDs and than streaming. Had hundreds of albums but I sold most of, keeping 30 or so of my most favorite. Playing these records transports me back to those years. Love it. The unit seems to be good quality. Arrived overnight in perfect condition. Set up took 10 mins. It’s nice that it has a built in preamp … I’m running the output directly to a set of powered speakers.
