I just wanted to give my very honest opinion & review on this item that I ordered & got from Amazon yesterday & all I can say is that I absolutely love, love, love it, it's not only very cute & pretty to look at, but it's also very easy to clean, I also love the impressive sleek style of it as well, because it looks absolutely amazing sitting on the counter in the kitchen, I also love the fact that it's made of clear glass, which I REALLY, REALLY love, so I can see the water get hot & come to a boil & when the water get hot enough & to the right temperature, it will automatically shut off, I also love that when you turn this Electric Tea Kettle on, around the whole bottom of this Electric Tea Kettle there are little blue lights, that come on & light up, that looks great in a dark kitchen, I'm very, very impressed at the great quality of this Electric Tea Kettle has, because it's very, very sturdy & well made to, I'm extremely happy & very glad that I got this Electric Tea Kettle, because when I buy & purchased an item, I want & like to know that my money was well spent on something that will actually work great & will do exactly what it says & states that it does & this Electric Tea Kettle that I got & purchased from Amazon is one that I know will last me for a very long time, if not for years to come. Excellent basic electric kettle.
This kettle gets used almost daily. It seems sturdy enough and is comfortable to use. Does a kettle heat water faster than the stove or microwave? Maybe a little, but it does free up the stove and microwave for other uses. I like the blue light showing it is on, and I like the automatic shut off that has worked without fail. The lid could open a bit more to make it easier to fill, but I don’t find that a big issue. It cleans easily, but I have used only filtered water and there is no scale buildup. I considered kettles with different heating and temperature options but ended up choosing this basic kettle and I am glad I did.

really like this glass kettle... it is easy to clean and dry off inside.. hand fits in well.. it is a simple... button to open the top which i appreciate and a button to start it.. lights up which is pretty and boils water fast!! some kettles for me have too many bells and whistles.. this one works well!!

Not a certified kettle for Canada
Don't buy this kettle as not approved for safety. Less than a week the one I bought shorted out in the handle. Sparks from the on and off switch in the handle. Should be taken off the market as dangerous.
