Exactly what I need as a carry-on or personal item
I did a ton of research before buying this bag. I wanted something for travel as my carry-on. I felt like Goldilocks looking for a bag not too big, but not too small, not too structured, but not too flimsy. This bag is just right. I love the compression straps (inside and out), the organization pockets for quick airport access, and the load adjusters on the straps for when it's heavy. The two handles (top and side) make it great for stashing in overhead compartments. I have a heavy 17" MacBook Pro that fits nicely in the bag, even with my added protective sleeve. The front bungee is great for stowing a jacket. I read many reviews complaining that the bag is more green than beige. This is true; it has a very pretty pale green hue. I happen to like green, and I think it looks nice next to my purse. The picture shows the pack next to my green purse and white blanket for reference. Of course, nothing is perfect; the water bottle pocket is wide but not deep, and the little drawstring toggle is pretty useless. I included a picture with a small 6L bottle that will easily fall out if I lay the bag down. If I bring a tall bottle, I can use the compression strap to secure it. But I decided to use the 6L bottle and put my umbrella in the pocket as well so everything is nice and snug. It's a minor issue that doesn't bother me, but might for some, which is why I mentioned it. Finally, the price is very reasonable for what you get. I don't usually go into so much detail on a review (let alone add pictures), but when I'm this happy with a purchase, it's my way of saying thank you to the seller. I hope to enjoy many trips with this bag!

Great storage, and comfortable for short travel!
I fly on a 2-3 day trip about once a month, and was looking for something other than a carry on sized suitcase. This opens up like a suitcase and has plenty of storage for a short trip, along with straps to keep stuff in place on the inside. There is a sealed zipper compartment in the inside as well that is good for carrying liquid carry on items. Two more pockets on the outside, along with a side slot for a water bottle. I'm not typically a fan of backpacks in general, but the straps on this are comfortable, have good padding, and did not hurt my back walking through the airport. This is a sturdy and well-made bag that made my last trip much easier. The shoe bag that comes with it is also a good added bonus, and it can clip to the outside of the bag if needed for extra storage. I would highly recommend! Also, no trouble fitting it in the overhead compartment of a small 2-seater per side airplane.

This is hands down my favorite personal travel bag. The quality is excellent and it feels very durable—I never worry about it ripping or the straps giving out. It has so many pockets, which makes organizing everything super easy, and it’s surprisingly spacious. It fits way more than you’d expect for a personal item. I’ve used several bags before, but this one really stands out. I’m a huge fan of BagSmart and I love the color I chose—it looks even better in person!

I loved this backpack! I was looking for something to travel with that wasn’t a carry-on, and this one was perfect. It has so many compartments, a very spacious main area, waterproof and mesh pockets, a separate compartment for shoes and another one for a laptop. Everything I needed for a 4-day trip fit perfectly. The straps are super comfortable and very sturdy, they held up really wel, and it’s beautiful. Highly recommend it!
