* Meets TSA Carry on Guidelines
If you pay very close attention, this is currently the ONLY Bagsmart carryon that actually meets the TSA guidelines. The others advertise.they do, but when they arrive they are actually 14.9 inches wide. So be very careful and read every description and look at everything closely. This bag is actually a few partial inches shorter in every direction. It makes you more confident at the gate. Despite being a bit smaller, it still retains the same cubic inches of carrying capacity inside. I purchased it for my sons first flight. He has really enjoyed it this year. He wanted the black. The material is relatively thin but feels very strong. I would say it has an air of professional, sleek, tidiness about it. I had ordered another Bagsmart bag before this one, and one big difference stood out. The zippers were very different. The zippers on this bag are sunk.into the case, leaving a smooth finish on top when you run your hand across it. On the other bag which did not meet TSA guidelines, the closing zippers were puffy. They puffed out from the bag when zipped closed. When you run your hand across, it felt bumpy, uneven, and soft in places. Besides simply looking poorly designed, it was an invitation to to rip. I was fairly shocked at the difference. His first flight was to Atlanta. He was very thankful for how easily the case rolled and handled when exiting this airport. On his next few flights he was confident enough to even check the bag at the plane entrance for free. It was sturdy enough that there were no marks left on it all. He is very happy with his new luggage. I am extremely pleased with the fact that he hasn't run into any hassles with airline staff with it. It is a great value for the money considering just this one thing.
