Perfect 1st Barbie house!
Perfect for a first Barbie house. Very functional, love the elevator, easy to use. Daughter has hours of fun playing with all her dolls in the house. Comes with a lot of accessories (small though) so have to keep track of them if kiddo is young (5 here). Assembly was easy for my engineer husband. I had a little bit of a time with all the little stickers for the accessories & some on the house 🤷🏻♀️, kinda weird since most of the house is pre-sticker’d already. The directions for where they go aren’t super clear on where exactly each one goes (just has arrows). ***Tip: The orange juice sticker while it points to fridge, ACTUALLY goes on the carton that goes IN the fridge (so it became a milk carton 🙃). Also the doorbell sticker looked like it belonged on the stove, took a bit to figure that one out.*** But daughter loves it and having movie night with all her dolls, playing and organizing their accessories in the house. Very cute. Says it’s supposed to be foldable for storage but the slightest knock sends everything in the house tumbling, so it just stays put. Sure it probably is without anything in it. Got it on sale during Prime week and worth the price. Every little girl needs her first Barbie house, and the ultimate dream house would literally take up half of her bedroom, so I’m happy with this purchase. Also very happy with the customer service. The first one we received was used, taped back together, missing almost all accessories (except a couch and 2 chairs) and random stickers all over it (only realized after opened on X-mas day). When I called Amazon, they sent a brand new replacement right away (within 2 days) and told me to donate the used one, which I did. Appreciated not having to lug that thing into UPS to return. Just a quick drop off at goodwill, which I’m sure some little one will enjoy without the additional accessories.

When ordering this doll house, at check out make sure you click on "SHIP IN AMAZON PACKAGING" because if you don't it will ship in the manufacturers box and trust me, based on other reviews it will most likely arrive beaten up pretty bad. I did ask it be shipped in additional packaging and the box arrived without visible damage. Thank goodness, because it is a gift for a nine year old Christmas angel tree recipient and we wanted the box and hopefully the contents to be in good condition. The box itself is not small. 28"x16"x8" and weighs about 9lbs. Besides the fact it is a Barbie house what sold me was that it is foldable for easier storage. Bought it on cyber Monday so I feel the price was fair considering what I've seen elsewhere. Since we are not opening it ourselves we are hoping all the parts are there and nothing is broken.

Mostly Nice Quality
The house was very easy to assemble. My daughter loves all the features of the house, especially the rooftop patio. I love the space-saving feature that it folds up when not in use as we have a small house. If we could add one feature it would be a removable slide - that's the only truly noticeable difference between this and the larger dream houses that don't fold up. Unfortunately, both orange chairs came bent/warped and are completely unusable. A few of the stickers were missing as well. HOWEVER, Mattel Customer Service fixed these issues quickly for us, so still a 5 star review! She's been playing with this quite a bit! I also love that this house is much less money than the bigger Barbie dream houses. This was definitely a great purchase.

Great compact Barbie house
This was my daughter’s favorite Christmas present. I can see many many hours of play. She wanted a Barbie house and I didn’t want it to take up a lot of space and this was the best one on the market. I got it on sale and thought the price was a good point to make the purchase. The colors are bright and the rooms are fun, the top roof with the sunbathing area is her favorite feature. We haven’t had any issues with the house falling over or any parts breaking. I do have a fairly responsible kid and she does take care of her toys well.
