I got the Bearaby king-sized weighted blanket for my husband and me because we wanted a weighted blanket we could actually share. I have to say, it's been absolutely perfect! The 25 lbs are distributed so evenly, it feels like a soft, calming hug without being too heavy. We’ve both noticed that we’re sleeping much better since we started using it. It’s crazy how something as simple as a blanket can make such a difference! What makes it even better is that on slow Sunday mornings, our kids love to pile in with us and snuggle up under the blanket too. I honestly went back and forth on this blanket considering the cost, but I'm glad I pulled the trigger on it! I spent hours researching numerous weighted blankets, and I read/watched a ton of reviews. I wanted to get a nice blanket for my wife. I never considered I'd enjoy it as much as she does. I chose the queen size for our queen bed and it covers the entire top with a little hang-over on the sides. I've read reviews on the difficulty of washing this blanket and the issues others have experienced, so I am a little nervous about that when it comes time. For now, we treat it like fine china and do not let the dog, or the kids, anywhere near it, haha.

The look of satisfaction on her face when she tried it for the first time was priceless. The material seems durable yet soft, no mystery beads in this blanket. I don't know exactly what type of material gives it the additional weight but it doesn't shift around or bunch up. The blanket is made up of a bunch of cloth tubes with the weighted material woven within them. The tubes are woven together like a loosely woven straw mat.
