Customer reviews

Fits tight. Finding it hard to wear after 20min.
Over a year later update: I’m glad I kept these. They have been the most reliable headphones I have. I can always count on a connection, amazing sound quality, and no ear ache from wearing them long term. While I initially didn’t like how they felt on my ears, they’ve since softened and really cup my ears well. I changed my two star rating to a five star because even though there was “break in” time, they are consistently my go to and the reliability functions BEAT out any other competition (even the fruit named buds). Many months later update: I decided to keep them. They’re not my favorite headphones but they do well enough. I like using them at the grocery store but they’re still subpar in my book. I’ve been losing weight (unrelated to the purchase of this), and it is healing with the fit but they still don’t feel good in my ears. The ear pad just is too small. The battery is awesome though. I need to charge them about once a month. Overall, still would not recommend without testing them on your head before you buy. Good luck 👍 Update: after a week, I don’t like these. They are far too small and push my ears to my skull after 10-15 minutes of use. I’ve down rated these from 5 stars to 2. The ear pads are not condusive to an adults ear shape. I’m not a petit person but I also am not overly large. I’m actually typically fair in the middle on most occasions… but these ear pads are downright awful. They are not squishy enough when the pressure of the headband wrap the device around my ears, nor are they big enough to cover my ear. So they end up pressing firmly down on the top tip of my ear or the outer edge, leaving me with incredibly sore ears after just a few songs. I’ve taken them to loud places, like planet fitness where they blast their own rage music, and honestly, I had to boost the levels of audio on my headphones to compete… it’s just not worth the money. For $20-$30 more, I could just get the apple pro pods that have even better reviews… I originally got these because I’ll be flying more with my job and wanted something that didn’t go in the ear but also get comfortable enough for long flights… this ain’t it. Which sucks because this is my 7th(?) pair of headphones I’ve tried and had to send back? I don’t know what I need to do right now and I’m not sure if I am going to return these simply because I’m tired of this process. I’m tired of hoping and praying and waiting and experiencing let down after let down. The charge seems fine enough but honestly, I haven’t been able to wear these long enough to test how long the charge is. The connectivity seems fine. I connected them to my iPad and iPhone XR just fine. The buttons work and connecting to the audio port was nice but definitely drained my device battery faster than if it was Bluetooth… Anyway… if I keep them, I’ll come back and update again if things change. If I return, at least you know what you’re in for. Original: So far so good. Will give these a good trial run and report any findings back. I did just get these out of the box and they do fit tight but I’m on the larger side too. Time will tell if I can wear my glasses or for prolonged periods. Sound seems good. Not Noise canceling.

Worth the price, good sound enough, perfect for workouts
I'm a huge headphone collector always looking for good quality sets. A very long time ago I used to own the first beats generation whose quality was amazing... over time I started using other sets and brands like Sony, Bose, etc.. I have a lot of sets for particular purposes. Yes is right that these don't come with noise cancelling and that music doesn't stop when you take them off... but I was not looking for any high end/premium headphones, but instead something more simple, classic, that could deliver good sound quality. It is also true that its bass is not what it used to be, but this is to help to provide a better and more crisp sound. Apple indeed made a downgrade and I'm not a full fan of downgrading bass, but being able to use the spatial sound feature in these is great, it makes music much more enjoyable with clear vocals and you can actually distinguish instruments better than just having a full blast on the bass. Again, I wasn't going for a noise cancelling set, and its "passive" noise cancelling is good enough (not for very loud places like airplanes though) but that's why I have other sets in case I want noise cancelling. This stays on pretty well while working out and even though is not specified it does feel sweat resistance and they feel pretty comfortable. Love their size btw, small, compact enough to fit in a my already bulky backpack. It came with a very nice case/pack where I can fill with a few more stuff, so that's a big plus. Not sure other models, but I loved my blue ones. Now... even though they feel quite comfortable, not sure they would be in the long run... they get a little less comfortable after an hour of use or so, bringing a little pressure in your ears, particularly the right side near the charging port (something odd about it makes it uncomfortable). Cushion is not as stiff like other brands, but it's ok... not the best, but manageable. Overall I do give these a 5 star because of the price/quality value, their sound quality, durability, and how convenient this are. Is probably not a must buy, but I would buy them again. note: My wife tried them and now she wants a pair too LOL, she loved them... So will buy another set just for her.

Iconic style, modern performance
The Beats Solo 4 represents a major technical leap for one of the most recognizable pairs of headphones on the planet. While the iconic, foldable design remains familiar, the internal hardware has been completely overhauled to meet modern standards. The Gold and Black aesthetic provides a high-end, sophisticated look that feels more mature than earlier iterations. One of the most impressive upgrades is the staggering 50 hours of battery life, which allows most people to go an entire week without reaching for a charging cable. Even if you do run out of power, the Fast Fuel feature provides five hours of playback from just a ten-minute charge, and the addition of a 3.5mm port means you can still listen to music even when the battery is completely dead. Sound quality has also seen a significant refinement. These headphones now feature custom 40mm transducers designed to reduce electronic interference and distortion, resulting in a much cleaner and more balanced sound profile than the bass-heavy Beats of the past. They also support Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking, which creates an immersive, theater-like experience for movies and music. It is worth noting that these are "on-ear" headphones, meaning they rest directly on your ears rather than surrounding them. While the new UltraPlush cushions are incredibly soft, they prioritize a secure fit that stays put during movement, which some users may find a bit snug during very long listening sessions. Compatibility is another area where the Solo 4 shines, offering a truly "platform-agnostic" experience. They feature one-touch pairing for both Apple and Android devices and integrate perfectly with both "Find My" and "Find My Device" ecosystems. Unlike the larger Studio Pro model, the Solo 4 relies on passive noise isolation rather than active noise cancellation; while the thick cushions do a great job of blocking out office chatter and street noise, they won't completely silence a loud airplane engine. For the commuter or student who wants a mix of legendary style, massive battery life, and high-fidelity sound in a portable package, the Solo 4 is a top-tier contender.
