Customer reviews

Comfortable, decent organization, but could be slightly better
TLDR: looks great, ykk zippers, comfortable, well made, multi-use Cons: no padded tablet sleeve, small water bottle pocket I bought this bag to replace the DSPTCH day pack. The straps on this bag are much more comfortable. The zippers are great, they glide very easy. And the material on the outside is very smooth, feels great to the touch. I love the extra space with the laptop compartment for your tech pouch. This is a genius thing to put in a bag. The front pocket organization is also good, I keep a journal in the front pocket. I like the sunglasses pouch, but I wish it was on top instead of on front. I was comparing this to the 26L venture ready pack. I am still not sure I made the correct decision. My problem with this pack is that there is no laptop sleeve inside. I keep my iPad in a Logitech keyboard case that is pretty durable. I also keep a packable rain jacket in the bottom of this bag so when I put my iPad inside, it sits in the back on top of my packable jacket and it’s held in place from the weight of the tech pouch, which is in the pocket above it. I kind of wedged my iPad in behind that pouch so it doesn’t move. It doesn’t make it as simple as just dropping it in a pouch though. I think if I had to do over again, I would have looked for a backpack with a had both a laptop and tablet sleeve built in. I do plan to use this bag as a carry-on for a trip to Hawaii in the spring. I am going to make it my one travel bag for a seven day trip however it will be to a location where the clothes that I carry are smaller and pack down smaller. I feel that it’ll work well for that as well. I think this bag is best described as a good multifunction bag that doesn’t really do one thing great but it does everything pretty good. It seems to be well made, and I don’t have any concerns about this bag, not holding up. All of the zippers are YKK branded (look underneath) except for the zipper on the sunglasses pocket. The water bottle pocket will only hold a smaller water bottle, probably 20 ounce, you can fit a 24 ounce Owalla in there, but it is tight. As for the style, it looks really good. Really sleek and modern, can definitely go for a business meeting or just give that urban explorer look blocking around town. It’s one of the best looking backpacks I’ve seen.

Nice work backpack with lots of room / compartments
Easily fits my MBP 16" in the laptop compartment, has a separate small compartment in there for all the cords / dongles etc. Main compartment has excellent capacity to pack my whole camera setup in there and there is room to spare for a fleece / rain jacket. The quality is what you would expect from Bellroy. I have taken it on a work trip to Atlanta and it is holding up really well. I compared this to a Peak Design back up of a similar capacity, and decided to keep this one instead.

Very pleased.
This backpack travels well when flying commercially. It’s easy to carry and stout enough to keep contents in place, no bunching with ample opening and inside compartments. Just used mine for the first flight and am very pleased.

A good work backpack
Got this for my bf as his new job onboarding gift! It looks nice and is functional with lots of pockets. Though it’s on a high price end, but it feels durable with materials used. The owl logo looks cute too!
