Slim enough to count as a “personal item”
I got this backpack so I could take a second bag on board the more restrictive airlines. After 6 mo. and many long and short haul flights, I’ve never been stopped it fits under the seat, is nice enough for work. I now call it my bellroy bag, aka a Birken bag for frequent travelers. The zipper system works only at the top and keeps things from falling out while allowing enough room for a tumbler laptop headphones and document holders. My only complaints are that the material holds small scuffs/stains. Tried a tide pen but no joy.

Holds a lot, stays compact
I bought this backpack for a foreign trip originally. Now I use it whenever I travel. It holds a lot of items - computers, books, magazines, pens pencils and keys, water and snacks. At the same time! While holding all these items, it still looks sleek and compact. While some do not like that the backpack straps cannot be removed, I have had no problems with this issue as I’m usually using it as a backpack. I’ve used it often over the past year, traveling all over the country and it still looks new. Highly recommend!

仕事で使うリュックを探していました。特に、最近の少し大きめのノートPC（16インチ）がきれいに収まることが条件だったのですが、これがなかなか見つからず…。そんな時にこのVia Workpackを見つけました。 実際に使ってみると、16インチのPCが専用スペースにぴったり収まり、しかも全体としては非常にコンパクト。通勤時の満員電車などでも邪魔になりにくいサイズ感が気に入っています。デザインもシンプルで、ビジネスシーンにも自然に馴染みますね。 PC周りのガジェットや書類など、普段の仕事に必要なものは十分入ります。ただ、マチはあまり広くないので、たくさんの荷物を入れたい方や、着替えなどを持ち運ぶ必要がある出張などには、正直向かないかもしれません。あくまで日々の通勤や、ミニマルな装備で動きたい方向けのリュックだと思います。 それでも、このすっきりとした使い心地は、私にとってはまさに求めていたものでした。大きめのノートPCを持ち歩く必要があり、かつスマートな通勤用リュックを探している方には、とてもおすすめできる商品です。

Great quality. Looks very nice and small so it is not too heavy.
I love this bagpack. I am using it for University. It carried my laptop and several books. the water bottle pouch is on the small size. My Stanley coffee thermos does not fit in there very well. I keep my umbrella in there instead. I bought the dark blue and I love the color. I was caught in the rain a couple of times and nothing was wet inside.
