Highly recommended. Very stable stand - using iPad Pro 12,.9
Highly recommended this for anyone looking for a solid stand for their iPad Pro 12.9 The back of the stand is the same dimensions of my iPad Pro 12.9 Not sure how “portable” this stand would be if you try to fold it flat and place it in a backpack or piece of luggage. I imagine going on a multi day business trip with luggage it would make sense and practical. Around the house, while laying in bed, working outside my apt at a table, it works great. I just pick up the stand “as is” and move from room to room as needed. It’s a bit challenging to adjust; very tight hinges. This though is probably a good thing. Last thing you want is placing a $3000 iPad Pro on a stand and have the weight of make it crash. The stand has two nice rubber strips approx 10” x 1” running vertically on the left and right back facing to your iPad to keep it from sliding. It works well; high quality. If I had an iPad smaller that 12.9” I probably wouldn’t like it personally. Seeing the metal back panel as its dimensions are approx 10” x 12” would aesthetically bother me. I don’t own a Mac Book Pro currently so I can’t share feedback on its sturdiness. I imagine it would work well. Tip: I use a folding travel keyboard case I believe named “the origami”. It folds into a stand when open, folds flat when closed fully protecting the $99+ Apple Bluetooth keyboard. I also have a plastic foldable table which is perfect when in bed on hanging out in the park sitting in a low profile beach chair. It folds into the shape of one of those “breakfast in bed” trays. Works perfectly for my use case.

I just received the laptop stand, and rushed online to provide this review, because I'm THAT impressed! This is a well designed product, manufactured with thick, 2.5 mm solid aluminum. While that may sound thin, this product is STRONG - the metal is inflexible and sturdy. All of the edges are polished smooth and the entire surface has a subtle texture to it that makes it resistant to scratches. The joints are exceptionally tight to hold even the heaviest laptop without shifting under the weight. They also move smoothly when positioning the stand into different angles - which requires a bit of strength (as would be expected for this type of item). When opened up, the wide base provides excellent stability while providing a nice platform for writing, a mouse, or under an auxiliary keyboard. As a finishing touch, the maker has included four non-slip silicone disks under the base, four smaller ones on the actual support (presumably for iPads), and two silicone strips atop the 1.5 cm L brackets (in addition to the two large vertical strips on either side of the support) to prevent slippage. I couldn't be more pleased at the value-for-money - and am now even brainstorming other uses for this item!

Il est facile à ouvrir sans être trop lousse pour que le poids de l'ordinateur le fasse descendre. Mon laptop est un HP 15" et n'est pas trop lourd. Je ne suis pas certaine qu'un laptop 17" resterait aussi haut avec le support, ça resterait à confirmer. Le fait que les pattes soient positionnées en arrière du plateau inférieur nous donnes la possibilité de pouvoir utiliser cette espace comme une extension du bureau de travail, surtout quand tu travailles avec beaucoup de papier. Ses petits coussins antidérapants, positionnés sous le support et sur le plateau supérieur, sont efficace et empêche l'ordinateur de glisser. Bien contente de mon achat.
