Sturdy wooden dollhouse with so many accessories

This cute wooden dollhouse is great! My granddaughters play with the old plastic one my kids played with every time they come over and they love it so I was excited to get them a new house for their neighborhood. After this house arrived , the original one really needs a remodel. I love that it’s wood and environmentally friendly and super sturdy (and quite heavy - won’t tip but also not easily for little ones to move). The detail in all the pieces included is great and all the furniture and modern styles are charming! It even has pictures that can be placed on the walls with included sticky back Velcro. I wish the doors on cabinets opened but glad the toilet lid open and closes, shower handle can come down, and front door opens. It didn’t come with a way for the poor wooden dolls to get from floor to floor so my granddaughters play uses a ladder from a fire truck and leans it against it. Another reviewer mentioned an elevator but mine does NOT have one and there is no mention of it in the thorough instruction manual or the description. Perhaps they didn’t assemble it fully and thought the little inside balcony area was an elevator but it does not move or slide (pops onto holes). I will admit I’m not gifted at assembling. That has always been my husband’s job, but my granddaughters really wanted to play with it so I decided to be brave and assemble all the many pieces myself. I started out thinking it wouldn’t be as difficult to assemble as I thought, but then I came across screws that just wouldn’t go in. Then I realized there are little white things with screw driver slots that have to be turned a certain way in order for the screws to fit. Happy to move forward I did okay again until I got to the back of the house panel which didn’t align with the holes well at all. I had to put them in and take the out several times in order to make them all line up correctly. It was not fun for me to build and took me hours longer than the 60 minutes the manual estimated it would but in the end, I won. I put the furniture in how it is shown on the manual booklet and put the doll into the adorable bathtub and the dog by the doghouse on the porch and enjoyed every moment of that part and spent longer than I should have because it was so fun figuring out how to decorate the home. I ordered more wooden dolls with a family and baby from a different brand since I didn’t see any from this brand and my granddaughters were wondering why there was just a mom and dad. There were a couple marks on it, but nothing too major. For the large size (3 story and roomy), sturdy quality, and all that is included the value was outstanding at the time o received this.

Sturdy and beautiful

I've been excited to purchase a dollhouse for my toddlers and did a lot of research on ones available for about a year before settling on this one. It was packaged nicely and neatly and came out mostly perfect. Two pieces were dirty/had scuffs, but with a wipe down, it came off. Assembly was easy for one person, I just turned on a show and got to work! Everything was labeled well and the instructions were perfect. I'm easily able to construct ikea furniture with their terrible directions, but this included with pictures and text and went so far as to even tell you when to turn the house around to continue working through the steps. All pieces were numbered in order of construction which made it that much easier to work through. The pieces were wrapped well and all were in great condition. I loved the variety of pieces it comes with. Basically a build and play house where you don't need to get additional items if you don't want to. Structure seems sound and sturdy, of course we will see how it holds up against two toddlers. The furniture and overall design is adorable and modern which fits well in their room. I like how spacious the house is since I wanted something a little bigger to accommodate two kiddos. I think this will work perfect for them! I envision them having the best time playing with this house and plan to add additional figures as well for even more imaginative play.

High quality dollhouse puts others to shame

Our little girl got some many items for Christmas, so we saved this one so it could have solid play time on it's own. This impressive wooden dollhouse puts others to shame. It's a 3 story house with 40 pieces of furniture to arrange. Dolls, beds, sofa, dining set, plants and a bathroom and even a whole kitchen are just what kids need to play house. Some adult assemble required - about an hour. This is a modern house with a roof and rooms look to real. The detail of the furniture is impressive, the front door opens, the bathroom shower has a spray hose, tub and opening toilet, a sink with a mirror. Each room has so many detailed pieces of furniture to rearrange and organize. We love the dog house and dog - just like home. The parts are made of wood, which is long lasting and should last for many years. It's big and a bit heavy, so toddlers are not likely to move it. The house measures 28" wide x 27" tall x 12" deep.

Modern, Sturdy and super cute!

I love this dollhouse. It came with so many accessories that my 4 year old granddaughter enjoyed playing with those before I had had a chance to put the house together. The instructions for assembly are easy to follow. It feels sturdy after assembly. I decided to embellish by adding wallpaper to multiple rooms with plans to do more in the kitchen. It would be easier to do this before assembly, but it worked fine for me afterwards. It only comes with two simply made people so I purchased additional people from Amazon to fill out the families. Overall, it was a really fun project for me and I know our grandkids will get years of use out of it.
