I see some reviews that say it's not warm enough or even enough. I'd like to suggest that they might be putting the blanket on the very top. I put it over a sheet, and under a blanket or two. It all heats up in a reasonable amount of time to the level you set. I'm very pleased with the timer function, because it helps me not accidentally get too hot as I fall asleep, and it helps me not waste electricity by accidentally leaving it on after I've left the bed. It arrived soft, clean, and odorless. I find it excellent at the price point, and can name only two small drawbacks with the design. It always turns on set to level 1 heating for 10 hours. I prefer a different setting, and although adjusting the levels is quite simple, I have to do it pretty much every time I turn it on. The well lit, easy to read in the dark display seems upside down to where the cable is mounted. It is, however, a simple thing to read upside down. Brand name recognition was a strong point in my decision to buy this electric blanket, and I am not disappointed.

Kinda short but quality is 100/100. Heats up quickly. Love it.
Have it for about 7 months now still works like day 1 so quality is definitely worth the price. It's lightweight but not thin. I'm 5'5", it only covers me from shoulder to feet so kinda short. But the blanket heats up quickly, offers adjustable warmth levels, and helps me relax without cranking up the thermostat. It includes safety feature of automatic shut-off for when i fall asleep withit on. I don't wakeup overheating since it turns off. Makes it both comfortable and convenient for everyday use. Overall recommend it. I love it.

I wanted a trusted brand for an electric blanket, and you can't go wrong with B&D. For some reason there are several prices based on color, not the quality of the blanket. It is easy to set up, and has dual controls, each with a plug. You can choose up to 10 for degree of warmth, although I think 5 is plenty warm. You can program for how long it's on, or it will turn off automatically after 10 hours. My only complaint: the instructions are confusing. For cold nights, this is a must.
