Description
- Removeable, Machine Washable Cover Made from 60% Polyester, 40% Viscose - Standard Sized 25x16x2.25 Inches - HYPER SLIM — JUST 2.25" HIGH: At 2.25 inches, this hyper-low profile is built for stomach sleepers who want the thinnest possible feel with a touch more cushion than our 1.75" model. It keeps your head, neck, and spine in one straight line, so you wake up without the stiff, sore neck a too-tall pillow leaves behind. - HIGHER-DENSITY FOAM YOU CAN FEEL: Not all memory foam is created equal. Ours is a premium 3.25 lb high-density formulation, meaning more foam packed into every inch than the lightweight foam in cheaper pillows. You feel it immediately: a substantial, cushiony cradle that's soft and supportive, never stiff. And because it's denser, it holds its shape instead of going flat within months, so your pillow feels as good in year three as it did on night one. It supports your head and neck, helps open your airways, and may ease snoring and shoulder pressure. CertiPUR-US certified and tested safe for what you breathe all night. - STAYS COOL FROM LIGHTS-OUT TO MORNING: Memory foam is notorious for trapping heat, but ours is engineered to release it. Gel-infused foam works with built-in ventilation channels to draw warmth away from your head and keep fresh air circulating, so you stay cool instead of flipping to the cold side at 3 a.m. - ZIP-OFF COVER THAT KEEPS THINGS HYGIENIC: The soft, removable cover unzips in seconds and goes straight into the washer and dryer, keeping the surface against your face clean, fresh, and free of the sweat and allergens that build up over time. No hand-washing, no fuss. - FAMILY-OWNED, HERE SINCE 2016: Bluewave has helped over 350,000 sleepers rest better. We're a family business, and when you have a question, a real person answers. They try to copy our products, but they can't copy our track record. Choose from five precise lofts (1.75", 2.25", 2.75", 3.25", and 4") to dial in your exact height.

Customer reviews

Thrilled with this pillow. If you’ve been searching, please read.
I have been searching for a good pillow for many years. A lot of products were not as promised or didn’t meet needsand either returned or thrown out. More recently, I had been dealing with neck and head pain for a month and nothing would work. I got this pillow about a week ago. After the first night, my issues were gone. So pleased, that I ordered a second one with a smaller height for sleeping on a different surface. 1. There is so much junk information out there for people desperately trying to find the right pillow. They show pictures of spinal alignment that just aren’t realistic. Or they’ll show people or videos with someone holding a pillow up on their shoulder from a seated or standing position saying the pillow needs to fill in that whole space. Just not right. I swear, that many memory foam pillows are designed for men. If a pillow is made of something lofty, like alternative down, then yes for a side sleeper it needs to be higher. But if you’re getting a foam pillow, that isn’t going to sink as much, 5 to 7 inch height is just way too high for The average female. Most phone pillows start at 5 inches, and most contour pillows would require a very long neck to make it over that hump and have your head be straight. I ordered the 4 inch pillow first. It arrived very well packaged with a seal on it showing it is brand new. First pillow I’ve ever received that has had that. Once let out of the wrapping, it started to rebound quickly. I put it in the dryer for 20 minutes on air with no heat and it came out fully expanded. There was very little odor. And what there was dissipated quickly. I did not order the cooling version, but this is gel with ventilation holes. So it’s softer, with faster rebound. I would say it’s medium firm, soft and comfortable, yet firm support. Not a brick. The cover it comes with is about the best I’ve received. I would love to use the pillow with just that cover, however, I need to use allergy covers. I’m female, about 5’5”, with an average frame. I have a lot of spinal issues. This has been a great fit for me. Tips: shoulder should not be on the pillow, if you’re leaning forward, your pillow is likely to short, and if you’re leaning back, it’s likely too high. If your spine seems a line, but your head is tilted up or down, that’s the wrong size. If you are sliding down off your pillow in the night, it is too high. 5 to 7 inches for all side sleepers does not fit many frames. Finally a decent pillow that offers so many options of sizes. I’m happy with the 4”, but well now use for the sofa, which is firmer and my body doesn’t sink in. I’ve now purchased a 3.25 inch which will be perfect for the bed where my body does sink down. Good luck!

Most comfortable pillow I've ever used
Though I'm now 36, I grew up sleeping on my back in a water bed through my teens. I imagine it's because of that experience that I almost always develop a terrible kink in my neck on any morning after I sleep with my head propped up too high. I go to great lengths to prevent this, carrying my own hard-to-find, decades-old, and extremely-thin pillow with me since I can remember any time I plan on spending a night away... until it sadly went missing on my most recent trip. Desperate to avoid another kink, I quickly replaced it with another Amazon pillow by OnACloud, but it was not made of as nice a foam and was strangely large for its thin size. This didn't surprise me though - I've always had a miserable time finding another option as good as ol' reliable before the Bluewave Hyper Slim pillow showed up at my door. While slightly thicker than my old pillow, it's amazingly plush, springy, and soft, making for perhaps the most comfortable sleep I've had since the last one disappeared. I couldn't believe how well I've slept since it arrived - truly restorative with no kinks in sight! I opted against the "Max Cool" version, but I'm glad I did as I've not had any issues with overheating, despite it being the middle of the summer. Moreover, where the OnACloud pillow was huge and my previous pillow unusually tiny in size, this one fills our queen pillowcases like any other queen pillow while remaining significantly thinner. Where I'm also very sensitive to smells, there was little to no odor from this pillow on arrival and it has remained odorless over this first week. I can't say enough good things about how comfortable it is. It's supportive enough for my head, but still cradles it with a lively, springy plushness that's an absolute tactile joy. It may just be the most comfortable pillow I've ever used and I've literally spent 3 decades looking. As far as I'm concerned, they don't make them better than this and should I ever lose it again, I'll be heading right back to BlueWave for another. Even though I never thought I'd find a replacement that worked as well as my last one, given how comfortable it is, I'm forced to wonder if it might have been part of the problem all along. So far as I'm concerned, if you're looking for a thin pillow, it can't get much better than this!

Finally comfortable!
I've tried just about every pillow it seems, trying to find one that doesn't cause me neck and shoulder issues. I am a side and back sleeper with a small frame. We also have a soft mattress which makes a difference too. Anyway I recently realized that I needed a lower loft pillow even though I do sleep on my side a lot of the time. I prefer solid memory foam to the shredded filling as I've found that the shredded filling moves around and doesn't provide that consistent support. It is hard to find a solid foam pillow that isn't too thick and too firm. This pillow seems just right. It is thinner than than what I would have thought I needed, but I am comfortable and without pain in the mornings. The foam is on the softer squishy side, but also supportive. Your head sinks in nicely, but not too much. The cover is also nice and soft. Most of us probably use a pillow case anyway, but I still appreciate a nice cover to protect the pillow. I would definitely recommend this one. 👍🏻👍🏻 Update: Still great, but because it is a little bit softer and squishy pillow (for memory foam) I ended up going up from the 2.75" to the 3.25" just to compensate a little for the sinking in difference. This way I still have the right support. I like that the pillow is on the softer side (again for a solid memory foam pillow) and you definitely don't sink all the way down into it. It does provide good support, but 2.75 was just a little too thin for me if you consider that slight difference. I had no neck issues, but my shoulder was a little squished when sleeping on my side.

Great for Me as a Side Sleeper
Omg! I bought these shortly after buying a new memory foam mattress because I forgot my existing pillows were flat the way I worked them to be, but they were getting too old. I got two of these and am using them both every night. Took me a single night to get used to them (had to treat these different than my worn pillows; placement tryouts throughout night 1). But by night 2, I had that down and now I'm just upset I didn't buy pillows like these earlier. They are firm, yet they give and don't fight you when you adjust your arms around them. I'm a side sleeper so I thought maybe these wouldn't be good for me. But I kind of place one of these pillows between my shoulder blade and my neck, and this pillow rocks in providing the perfect amount of space for my broad shoulders. Plus stack them up and they work well for me when watching TV before bed. They hold their shape perfectly, so that's a plus. And they came in very nice packaging; made me feel more important than I am lol. All and all, I feel I got a great value on these pillows. They are quality pillows; haven't washed them yet but I'll be doing that soon and am not expecting any issues with removing the outer cases and washing them. Time will tell on that though.
