Finally a 35 oz cup that fits a mini Cooper cupholder and doesn’t leak with soda inside!
I developed a long list of requirements for my cup and this checks all the boxes: 1. Screw top that doesn’t pop off when you put soda/seltzer inside. 2. See through top so I can see how much ice is left. 3. Fits small cupholder in mini cooper, 4) leakproof top that can be carried sideways in any bag, 5) fits fast food 32 oz cups that can be slid in at a drive through and keeps a soda chilly and prevents ice from watering down the soda. I’ve purchased numerous brands around 30+ oz that all claimed to fit cupholders, this is the first cup that’s actually true! The trick is to slide the silicon off the bottom. While the top can be a hard to twist off (they should make the grooves higher on the top so fingers could get more leverage), this new version of the top is so far easier to twist off than the company’s older version (of which I own three). I sometimes twisted the old version’s top on too tight and almost couldn’t get them off. It’s impossible to twist the new top on too far. This new version twists only about half an inch then locks. It takes a little getting used to as the old style had a traditional twist top. If you’re already twisted the top and it’s time to pull the lift up and off, it will stop moving and you’ll think it’s hard to get off when you should stop twisting and start pulling. The cup is dishwasher safe. Wish I found this before wasting money on the past 10+ cup attempts! Last, I prefer no handle for the car as handles get in the way of my cell phone mount in the CD player. Also the lack of handle means I can put the cup into a cup sling with a long strap to carry hands free.

I rarely do reviews, but thought this deserved it. I did lots of research before finally deciding to buy the Brumate Nav 25oz. This is definitely the best travel mug ever! Great size, great design, and absolutely leak proof! I was a little worried about some of the reviews about the lid being hard to take off, and the closure breaking off. But after receiving it and using it, I now know that most of these issues are due to incorrect use. The lid is an align the tabs and twist design and works very smoothly, and the closure tab fits very tight and locks in place. If you are consistently trying to lift the closure tab without unlocking it, or trying to close it with the slider in the locked position, it is going to break off eventually. Also the lid has to be twisted counter clockwise to remove, and also the closure tab should be unlocked and open before lifting the lid. This mug is so leak proof and water tight, that the mug will actually form a vacuum depending on which liquid is inside. So....when twisting conter clockwise to take the lid off, if you don't release (unlock and unsealed the closure tab), the vacuum will actually make removing the lid difficult. Again, an awesome design, but does require proper use. Highly recommended!

SO MUCH BETTER THAN "THE" OTHER VIRAL TUMBLERS.
Absolutely the BEST tumbler/cup I own!! HANDS DOWN! I have several Stanleys but this Brumate is FABULOUS! Keeps drinks so much colder. I love that there is no handle as we can't have tumblers with a handle at my job. I love the octo seal leak proof lid. I love that the lid locks! No one can open my cup quickly and put anything in it while at the desk. It easily fits in my cup holder in the car too. The value for the money is on point compared to other tumblers. It is so easy to clean, the boot comes off with a little effort for cleaning. AND let me tell you about this color!!! EVERYONE and I mean everyone that has seen my tumbler LOVES THE COLOR!! Its like an iridescent bluish purple. There is a sort of non-slip feel to the tumbler also. I can't describe it, but it just feels amazing in my hand and I know it won't slide out of my hand easily. This BRUMATE tumbler is absolutely everything and more! I should earn commission because now all my nurse friends at work have purchased themselves one too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Good looking travel mug - totally spill proof
Pros: Basically everything - keeps hot beverages hot for long periods, seals well and does not leak at all, easily fits in a variety of cupholders, comfortable in the hand. Thing of note: Vacuum seal is very tight. If lid is closed/sealed it is very difficult to open. Make sure the lid that snaps the drinking hole is in the open position to open the lid easily. (This is shown in the directions provided with the cup) This cup may be difficult for a person with severe arthritis to open.
