Worth It! And very nice looking.
I cringed at the price, considering there are many similar options on Amazon, but I love the way it looks (one reason I wanted this one). As well, I was looking for something that I could use my Surface Pro on, without the keyboard. Many of the similar options aren't suitable for this. I tried one described for iPad, but as anyone who has the Surface Pro knows the kickstand is the issue if you have the keyboard attached, and most of the similar models won't work this way with the Surface type cover attached, because the display won't "stand up" without the kickboard extended, and these laptop holders aren't deep enough to accommodate the kickstand. Anyway, I wanted to use it just as a tablet and use my wireless keyboard and mouse just sitting on the desk/table/countertop. This one works perfectly. The base is very study and heavy enough to feel stable. The rubber feet on the bottom 4 corners totally keep it from sliding around, and the rubber grips on the bottom of the shelf are very secure as well. The wood shelf/platform is a touch of class compared to most others. The adjustability is fantastic. I needed one that would raise the top of my tablet to eye level for ergonomics. Most of the others including one I ordered were *way* too low. This one, when the legs are fully extended, raises the base of the tablet a little over 7" off the desk/table/countertop, which is perfectly aligned for me (5'5" when standing) ergonomically. Then being able to adjust the tilt is another plus. Couldn't be happier, after an extended search for just the right product, to have found this one which is both functionally perfect *and* beautiful.

Elegant Looking, Practical Laptop Stand
This is exactly what I needed for my desk at the office, to prop up my laptop. I connect my laptop to two other monitors, and I wanted it to be elevated so I’m not constantly looking down. It is easy to adjust, looks great vs. your standard all-metal stand, and it serves a great purpose!

Very sturdy and well made.
Item is just as advertised and is very sturdy and well made. You can adjust to almost any angle. I am well pleased but would also purchase the same with a wider top piece to write on. I am trying to save my neck from having to look so far down at a desk top.

Itʻs very sturdy and stable. The computer is held on by friction, and it works just fine. No straps or clips. Iʻm very satisfied. I can also use it as a stand-up base for when I donʻt want to be sitting down all day.
