Setup can take multiple iterations - It's worth it
I am pouring great shots with this espresso machine and run several test shots to configure everything. . Be prepared to spend some time setting it up. You'll have to adjust the grind. Then you'll have to adjust grind timer to correctly size the amount of grounds. And then you'll have to adjust the amount of water in the shot. It may take several complete iterations. It its worth it!

Looks and works like a brand new machine. I've had it for 6 weeks now and it works well. Took about a 1/2 lb of beans to dial the espresso brew to my liking. It is easy to do.
