No idea if it's real satin, but does it matter? It's like sleeping in the Gryffindor common room
I bought this pillowcase for my daughter because I wanted to add a little magic to her teen sleep routine, and also because she's still emotionally recovering from the end of the Harry Potter series. Let me tell you.... this pillowcase DELIVERS. It's silky, it's shiny. I’m convinced it’s enchanted. Good things: 1) Feels like your head is napping on a chilled Butterbeer 2) Subtle and classy Hogwarts designs—just enough magic, not enough to by kiddy 3) Hair actually is smooth and classy when she wakes up (added bonus) Cons: 1) Now I want to replace every fabric item in my home with satin (or whatever this fake satin is, because it's lovely) 2) No actual spellcasting included (my tween is still the same tween) 3) Does not transport her to Hogsmeade, despite repeated attempts In conclusion: it's magical, it's comfy, and it's the closest my daughter will get to sleeping in the Room of Requirement. Would buy again—next time in Slytherin colors to balance the house energy.

The print is adorable and looks just like the pictures. The satin material feels smooth and soft, and it has that nice cool feel when you lay on it. One of my favorite things is that it actually helps my hair — I don’t wake up with my hair frizzy like I do with regular pillowcases. It keeps it looking smoother in the morning. Love. Love. Love getcha one so soft. So cool when sleeping. Good on my hair. The only thing about Silk is that if you sleep with multiple pillows, it’s hard to keep it in place. If you’re using this as a comfort pillow, just know they also don’t stay in place. They slide around everywhere. But the feeling of this pillowcase is wonderful and it’s very beautiful. Definitely my favorite. I bought my daughter one too. I was skeptical on the pricing for one pillowcase, but I ended up buying the second one.
