Stability That Feels Like a Hug, Durability That Works Overtime
I’ve been wearing the Beast GTS 24 for a few weeks now, and I’ve got to say: this shoe feels like the ultimate workhorse. Whether I’m on a long walk, standing all day, or doing my weekly runs, the GTS 24 gives me a sense of strong, reliable support that really helps with stability. What Stands Out: Serious Stability: The GuideRails system is very noticeable — it keeps my feet centered and prevents excessive inward rolling, which makes a big difference on long walks or runs. Doctors of Running +1 Firm, Long-Lasting Cushioning: The DNA Loft v3 foam is firmer than some running shoes, but that’s exactly why this shoe holds up so well. According to RunRepeat testing, it’s designed for long-term durability not just for quick sprints. #1 Athletic Shoe Review Site Wide Base = Confident Stride: The shoe has a broad heel and a stable base, which helps me feel grounded even on uneven surfaces. #1 Athletic Shoe Review Site Breathable Yet Supportive Upper: The mesh upper lets my feet breathe during long hours, and the heel counter feels rigid enough to lock things in. Doctors of Running Built to Last: The outsole seems tough — it’s got lots of rubber, which I’ve found holds up nicely even after dozens of miles. Things to Be Careful About: Heavy on Foot: This is not a lightweight trainer — at over 12 oz, it takes getting used to. #1 Athletic Shoe Review Site Firm Ride: The midsole is quite firm, which can feel less “plush” than other cushioning shoes. Break-In Required: Some customers mention needing a break-in period before the stability and structure feel really comfortable. Zappos Tight for Some Feet: A few users with narrow heels or sensitive arches have reported discomfort — especially until the GTS system is fully settled in. Reddit +1 Bottom Line: If you want a workhorse stability shoe that’s built to last, the Beast GTS 24 is a standout. It’s not the lightest or softest ride, but the security and durability it offers make it perfect for people who walk a lot, stand all day, or need solid support on their runs. For me, it’s become a daily go-to for anything from errands to long training walks.

Excellent running shoes for heavier low arches runners looking for stability and comfort
I picked up the Brooks Beast GTS 24 to replace my old Hoka running shoes, and I’m glad I made the switch. The Beasts feel more supportive overall, and the wide fit works better for me than the Hokas, even though those were solid shoes too. I’m not a long‑distance runner — just a few miles a day for weight loss — but at 215 lbs with low arches and a tendency to supinate, I rely heavily on stability shoes. The traction on the Brooks are very good and I sometimes jog on trails with them without issue. The 12 mm drop on the Brooks helps take pressure off my arches compared to lower‑drop models, and the cushioning has noticeably reduced my shin and calf discomfort. I’ve owned several versions of the Brooks Beast, and while past models felt heavy, the GTS 24 is lighter and much closer in feel to my Hokas. At $119, the price was far better than what my local store offered. The laces are also a big improvement — they tighten evenly across the upper instead of bunching at the tongue. I ordered a 10 wide, and the toe box and overall fit have plenty of room. In fact, these run a bit wider than my Hokas, so I could probably wear a regular width. If you have low arches, carry extra weight, or need strong stability and support, I highly recommend the Brooks Beast GTS 24. As always with Brooks, the build quality and durability are excellent.

Your feet will love you!!
Amazing shoes! My feet feel the best they have in a decade. I spend 13+ hours a day on my feet, wearing a heavy belt. These aren't some kind of "miracle healing" shoe, but they do work as advertised, and well worth the money. I did a lot of research, it came down to these and Hoka's. These seemed more aligned with my needs, and my son also uses them at his job. I like them so much I bought a second pair for every day use. My only complaint, as trivial as it is, is the cheap shoe strings. One would think that as much as they invested in the design and quality building of the shoe you could put in decent shoe strings, especially for the cost. Not a deal breaker.....

Beast 24 is a fantastic upgrade — the best stability shoe I’ve ever used
★★★★★ Beast 24 is a fantastic upgrade — the best stability shoe I’ve ever used I used the Beast 22 for a long time and thought it couldn’t get any better, but the Beast GTS 24 is an excellent upgrade in every way. The cushioning feels smoother, the stability is even more natural, and the 4E fit is perfect for wide feet. I’ve tried ASICS Gel‑Kayano, HOKA stability models, and several others, but nothing comes close to the support and alignment the Beast provides. I walk 5 miles every day, and this is the only shoe that keeps my feet, knees, and hips completely comfortable. If you need real motion control and all‑day stability, this is the best shoe you can buy.
