Excellent running shoe for people needing extra padding
I am a soccer referee. In the fall of 2025, I logged 274 miles refereeing youth and high school soccer matches. While I also own a pair of cleats, most often I wear running shoes because of the cushioning. Previously, I used a couple of pairs of trail runners, thinking they'd give me more traction. The problem is my feet suffered horribly (bloody toenails, aching feet) because of the lack of padding, as well as my own error of keeping them too long. (I never really thought I was running that far, nor that the shoes would wear out that quickly. I started tracking my mileage and was shocked to see how many miles I put on as a non-distance runner in a three-month timeframe.) I have a pair of Brooks running shoes that I have used for conditioning running at the start of a season, so I thought I'd try one of their other styles. I'm glad I did, though my feet will still hurt after a weekend (or week!) of games, it's not to the degree I suffered previously. And no bloody toenails from being jammed into the shoe on rapid starts and stops. I bought these towards the end of the fall season, and when I started running for the spring 2026 season conditioning, I felt I was literally running on air. The conditioning runs felt more effortless -- and I seriously hate running for the sake of running. A big bonus: they aren't clunky like Hokas, which are often touted.

Super Comfortable and Lightweight
I purchased these for doing 12-hour shifts at a busy Hospital ER. From the very first shift, they exceeded my expectations. They are very comfortable and very lightweight. It doesn't even feel like I have shoes on as far as weight wise. If you are on your feet for long periods, these are the perfect shoe for that. Very supportive and saves the strain on your back. They have also held up perfect so far. I bought two pair of these at the same time, one black and one gray. I will definitely buy again in the future.
