Quality projector, happy purchase
I was a bit skeptical about projectors in general before this purchase, but my parents are visiting soon, and I wanted them to have some type of entertainment setup in the spare bedroom without investing in another TV. So here I was, buying a projector to see if it would actually work -- and I was pleasantly surprised. First off, I didn’t have a wall mount or stand for the projector, so I had to place it off to the side at an angle rather than directly facing the wall. I thought this would be a hassle, but the screen adjustment and keystone correction features made setup surprisingly easy. It took just a few minutes to get everything aligned properly. The image quality is also much better than I expected. Colors are vivid and bright, and the resolution is more than good enough for movies, shows, and casual watching. I was worried it might look washed out or blurry like some cheaper projectors I’ve seen before, but that wasn’t the case here. The fan does generate a bit of noise, especially in a quiet room, but once you actually start watching something, it fades into the background pretty quickly and I barely notice it. Another thing I liked is that the most commonly used streaming apps are already built in. You basically just log into your accounts and use it similarly to a smart TV, which made the whole experience very straightforward. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase. For the price and convenience, it ended up being a much better experience than I expected.
