Enjoyable and doesn’t enter a room before I do !
This is a small travel size container of Eau de Parfum from Calvin Klein. It has a light scent that smells clean and bright. I like the size and think it is a great purse size or will fit easily in a liquids bag to go through TSA for traveling by plane. I like trying different scents of parfum or perfume. This one is different than others I have tried which I enjoy. Sometimes it seems like one perfume or parfum compares or to or seems to be a remake of another. I like this because it is unique compared to other perfumes and fragrances I have tried in the last couple of years. It doesn’t smell flowery to me or fruity - many scents smell like apple or have a rose or strong flowery scent to me. This one does not, in my opinion. It also doesn’t smell musky. I honestly don’t quite know how to describe it to someone who can't smell it. The manufacturer describes it as “a smoky, sweet amber-floral fragrance designed to evoke confidence and joy”. That is a good description in my opinion. It is not a heavy scent. It is not something that I am afraid of getting three sprays instead of two. I don’t find myself being afraid that the scent will be overpowering to someone around me. I think it is something that can be worn and the people close to you will smell. It is not likely something for me - that someone will smell before they see me enter a room. This is the Eau de Parfum version of the scent. In my opinion the parfum vs the toilette vs the cologne have different scents, on me. As the list below shows, the intensity is different and the longevity is different. Personally, the difference between the concentrations can cause the scent to be somewhat different when I wear it. There are not many fragrances that I have 2 or 3 different levels of scent - but those that I do - I find that both my husband and my family think they smell different from each other, your experience and opinion may be different. Fragrance Intensity Hierarchy (Highest to Lowest): Parfum / Extrait de Parfum: 20-40% concentration (Highest, longest-lasting). Eau de Parfum (EDP): 15-20% concentration (High/Balanced). Eau de Toilette (EDT): 5-15% concentration (Moderate). Eau de Cologne (EDC): 2-5% concentration (Light). Eau Fraîche- defined as fresh water or often in the USA referred to as body spray : 1-3% concentration (Lightest). The price at the time of this review is $36 for this 1/3 ounce travel bottle. It is a great way to try a new scent. For a scent that is a favorite, it is not a good value. A large bottle of over an ounce seems to be in the $99-$129 range at the time of this review. I hope my details, thoughts and photos help someone.

A Guided Exploration Of Vanilla
I have owned my bottle of Euphoria Magnetic Elixir from Calvin Klein for four days. In that time, I’ve worn it twice and tested it on paper test strips twice. I quite enjoy the experience of wearing this fragrance, and I’ve compiled my notes into what I hope will be a coherent review. Upon first spraying Magnetic Elixir, I get an impression of intense sweetness. Something along the lines of candied fruit. It’s quite intriguing and mysterious because I just can’t put my finger on it. It’s really a bit of a tease. The more I try to inhale and identify that candy, the more ambrette comes out to play. Ambrette is usually a bit of a riddle to me, and so the mystery deepens. In just a few minutes, the candy has faded to a whisper, and I’m left with a musky and slightly woody impression. It takes about fifteen minutes on my skin for the floral aroma to take control of the experience. I don’t know my orchids well enough to say that what we have here is, in fact, dancing orchid. Metaphorically speaking, it does dance a little tango with the diminishing opening notes, and again later with the vanilla. So it’s probably fine to take Calvin Klein’s word for it. The creamy vanilla and musk of the base notes come on slowly, and I don’t really have a sense for the timing. It’s a gradual shift from being quite floral to being mostly deep and seductive. Performance is good overall. I’m getting about five hours of longevity on my skin and six to seven hours on clothing. Magnetic Elixir does not seem to announce itself every time I enter a room, creating a scent bubble of no more than two feet and for no longer than ninety minutes. I’ve been applying six sprays, two sprays on my neck, one on each wrist, and one behind each knee. I allow for overspray to land on my clothing. This particular entrant to the Euphoria fragrance line seems somewhat youthful, largely owing to the sweetness of the opening minutes. It should be a crowd-pleaser and considered office-safe. It should go without saying that it’s also solidly feminine, but I may as well mention it. The value for your money strikes me as being fair-to-good. Aside from the opening minutes, I don’t find its profile to be exactly unique, but there should be a space for something along these lines in most perfume collections. The little journey Magnetic Elixir sends you on is definitely worth taking.

Euphoria Magnetic Elixir By Calvin Klein
Weeks ago, I ordered a small 0.33 ounce Calvin Klein Euphoria Magnetic Elixir perfume. I immediately was taken aback with the amazing scent. Before my small bottle ran out I decided to order this bigger bottle of Magnetic Elixir because I did not want to run out of this scent. This 3.3-ounce bottle of Magnetic Elixir arrived, and just in time I might add. I have one, maybe two uses left in my small bottle. I took the cap off my new bottle, and I could smell the familiar fragrance that I was happy to have replaced. It smells so good and I would describe it as having a musky vanilla and orchid scent which I totally love. This Magnetic Elixir is now one of the top 3 perfumes in my rotation of that I use when I leave the house. I love the way it smells on me. I spray it only once or twice and it seems to last for many hours. That’s always been the case for me, ever since I have worn perfume. I spray very little on a pulse point or two, and it lasts and lasts, all day long. This bottle of Magnetic Elixir is large, at 3.3 ounces, so it will be lasting for quite a while. I have owned other Calvin Klein perfumes in the past, and although I have always liked them, they do not come close to measuring up to this Euphoria Magnetic Elixir. That being said - I really do like this perfume. I can definitely smell the variety of different undertones of several ingredients. Because of this, I would rate this perfume as a 5 out of 5 Stars. What really got me to order this bottle besides the amazing scent was the awesome price. My one-third ounce of Magnetic elixir was $36. This three and one-third ounce bottle is $129 which means I get eleven times the amount of Magnetic Elixir for barely more than triple the price. It’s definitely a great value. Wonderful Summer Scent
This review is for Calvin Klein Euphoria Magnetic Elixir Parfum Intense – Ambery Perfume for Women – With Ambrette Absolute I really, really like this perfume. I’ve been wearing this for about 2 weeks now, and it’s just so good. I’ve been trying to figure out what I’m smelling, and it’s still a puzzle. I’m purposely not looking at the description while I write this review, because I want to give my impression of what I smell. I get the overall impression of warmth, golden-hour, cozy depth, comfort. It’s a creamy, sweet smell - but not sugary sweet like marshmallow. It’s more of a sweet-tart-tangy scent, like slightly unripe summer fruit. But I wouldn’t say this is a fruity scent. Honestly, it confuses me, and I kind of like that. It’s a warm, creamy, sweet-tart, lightly floral fragrance. I wouldn’t say this is a gourmand, but it’s a neighbor. It’s kind of in-between floral and gourmand, and it’s delightful. I wouldn’t have expected this from a major brand - it feels a bit more like a niche product. The only thing I don’t like about this perfume is the bottle - I think it’s kind of ugly and not the easiest to use. I have to hold it sideways and use my middle finger to spray. Bottom line - this is a yummy summer scent and I recommend it to anyone.
