Your size, get a size or 2 smaller
I returned the one I got..I normally like oversized hoodies, this was very comfortable and warm..quality carhartt as always! This was oversized in a way I've never experienced before.. when i put my hands in the pockets and bring them together to make the waistband snug around my body, I get about a 10" overlap, have never had a hoodie that the waistband was that big.. I recently bought a hoodie that was a 3x and it was almost too tight ..I wish there was an industry standard .. also wish they listed the waistband size, they just have chest measurements. I plan on getting this hoodie, but will go down a size or 2.. even the hood was waaay big, like "I'm going to catch every ounce of wind coming this way" big. EDIT: Got a 2x and its nice, still roomy enough, but waistband fits around my body so wind doesn't just blow up in easily.. the hood is normal size on this one ...everyone's body is different, these are just my personal experiences. All in all, great quality, very warm (it was windchill of -14F last night and I was comfortable during the 20min I was shoveling)

Quality thick heavyweight zip up hoodie that keeps you warm. The color was true to the picture and is a beautiful green. It is great for working outdoors in the North East when you have a warmer winter or fall or early spring day where you don't need a really heavy jacket, but are too cold for a thin one. Carhartt has such quality clothing and workwear. It is very well made and is soft. It is true to size as well.

Size down
This zip up hoodie is a nice and heavy and very warm. It’s comfortable and easy to move in. It is very oversized though. I am 5’10” 205lbs and normally get sweatshirts in an XL, as I like some extra space, but the XL was way too big in the sleeves and the waist. I exchanged and sized down to a L and the fit is great. Including pics of XL vs L

Heavy-weight, durable, warm
Got a medium because the large in Carhartt products tends to be very big, even though I am 6’2 190lbs. Should have gotten the medium-tall however, overall a great sweater, it is heavy weight and will definitely keep you warm in colder weather. I use it as a layer while camping and it works great.
