Great thermal lined sweatshirt, zipper, and good quality to go with it
I really like the loose fit on this zipper sweatshirt I prefer a 2X in shirts and jackets, and I know that this had a loose fit from the reviews that I had read but I like having the extra room I chose the carbon Heather Black for a color and I really like it I really don’t like a heavy coat anytime of the year and this is the perfect thickness and comfort that I like the best. The sleeves fit at a perfect length and the hoodie is the perfect size. I like that it’s long for length past the waist, but in cold weather, it will be a lot better. I like this new design so much better. as always, Carhartt gets five stars for this one.

Husband loves it
I bought this as a replacement for my husbands old carhartt sweater hes been wearing for a few years. He loves the rain defender. It us very durable and lasts for years even when wearing at a construction job. Its light enough to move around in but warm enough to wear in the snow. 3x fits him great. He hates pull overs or anything fuzzy on the inside so this style is great for him. Definitely will continue to buy this one for him. His old one is still in great shape, its just sun faded and the sleeves are a little worn down. That one will continue to be a work jacket and this one will be a home jacket until it starts to fade.

Bought for my husband to replace similar Carhartt jacket he has had for 10 years. Fits perfect. Same quality and feel as the old one that lasted through many outdoor chores. Very warm for the weight and thickness. Does repel some water when raining. Good looking, could be used as an everyday jacket. When it is super cold he layers it under a overcoat with out any loss of mobility.
