I thought long and hard about this review and how many stars i'd give it. It was a no brainer for me, but I put thought into it because I did read the other reviews (people complaining about the latches being difficult etc). This is true, the first few times I said to myself (no like).. how the h*ll, do I unlatch this damn thing! It wasn't intuitive at first, but then it was easy. The latches are no joke, they're snug and keep it secure. I actually do like them, and i swear, it will prevent any kid from trying to get into it, or having the board fall out from the case when being held. When I first used it, and was testing it, my other half came in and thought 'this is so cool.. can i have it' (he doesn't even cook.. and no chance he's getting this!). It's a complete set, the little bowls, the little serving things. This is an item that makes a great gift (seriously), and also is great to bring to a picnic etc. But honestly, for me, because I go visit fam and friends often and am the cook in our groups, I always bring stuff. A board like this with a handle/cover seems a no brainer, but honestly, I despise travelling with plastic wrap on trays or wood boards. It's the death of me, so am very happy with this. The fact that its made of bamboo is an added bonus because it's hardddd, and doesn't absorb knife or other dents/cuts easily. The handle on this is great. Look, you'll get some fingerprints on the cover, and eventually some scratches (assuming), its plastic. But it looks great, is a nice size and i haven't yet found one i liked as much as this. Im giving this 5 stars. I already brought stuff to a friend's place using this on the weekend, and everyone there also asked where I got it.

It was incredibly easy to prep at home, and snap the lid on which allowed me to travel without the food shifting or falling apart. The built-in handle on the lid made it incredibly portable, and really makes for effortless entertaining at home, or a family or friends place. The set comes with two ramekins, two knives and four cheese forks. The utensils come in a nice case, although once your food is prepped, there is no place to store the case within the board itself.
