Magnifique livre !!!
À tous ceux qui aiment l'océan, et plus particulièrement les vagues, je vous conseille ce livre de Clark Little, vous ne serez pas déçu. Les photos sont exceptionnelles, de très bonne qualité. Clark Little réussit à nous montrer la beauté d'une vague sous tous les angles. Les images des shore break sont impressionnantes et vous montrent la technique de prise de vue de Clark Little pour capter l'instant magique qu'une vague peut offrir en une fraction de secondes. Il y a aussi quelques photos de la faune locale. Le livre est préfacé par Kelly Slater. J'ai conseillé une amie partie pour Hawaï d'aller visiter "Clark Little Gallery Haleiwa", elle était ravie et elle m'a rapporté un calendrier et un t-shirt pour mon fils. J'espère un jour aller à Hawaï et peut être rencontrer Clark Little sur son lieu de travail. Vous pouvez acheter ce livre les yeux fermés !!!

I love the ocean and Clark Little has captured the beauty, the magic, and the wonder of the ocean and particularly waves crashing. He taught himself and turned himself into a maestro of photographing ocean waves. His talent and gifts for photography are in full display in his incredible pictures of waves and surf crashing on the shore. He captures all the colors of the visible spectrum in so many shots. These pictures will take you away to the place where he is... putting you right there on the sand as the wave breaks. You just don't have to get sand in your ears to see it. If you love the ocean or natural beauty I highly recommend this book for you. You will love it!

Ich bin durch Zufall bei einer ARTE Dokumentation auf dieses zauberhafte Buch gestossen. Ein absolut "Wahnsinniger", der sich für außergewöhnliche Einblicke in die Tube einer der Riesenwellen ohne Sicherung begibt und vom Reiten auf den Wellen der Welt solch phänomenale Bilder erzeugt. Nun gehöre ich nicht zu den Surfern, die jemals solche Wellen geritten sind, noch reiten werde, aber hier ist jemand verliebt in die Wellen und die Photomotive und Bilder, die so nur die Natur uns bieten kann. Ich habe mich verliebt in dieses Buch und kann es jedem ans Herz legen, der selber schon die Schönheit der Wellen erlebt hat oder auch nur ein Fan davon ist.
