No more cold tea!
I am a person who is easily distracted and sidetracked. I also like to sip my tea and would often end up with cold tea :( This was last year's Christmas gift and it's still going strong (6 months later). This thing is awesome! It keep my tea warm enough to drink but not too hot for as long as you have the cup sitting on it. My mug is 24 oz which is on the large side and still fits just fine. It turns on when you set your cup on it. I usually leave it plugged in and haven't had any issues with it. It's an excellent gift for any lover of hot drinks or for yourself!

I am not sure why I ever bothered with cold coffee before! This thing looks cool on my desk and keeps my coffee warmer than when it was first brewed! It tastes delicious for as many hours as it takes to drink my large 20oz mug! The weight sensor for turning on and off makes it easy to just put your mug on it and the blue light tells you its on. The wood (plastic) trim looks fancy too. I highly recommend for those who take forever to drink their warm beverages.

Perfect for me
This item was perfect. The complaints are ridiculous. Burned yourself....well it's a hot item. A little common goes a long way. I love my coffee less than boiling hot and it keeps it at the right temperature. This is my second one. I moved and left the first one. Highly recommend.
