Best DVD projector
I bought this DVD projector because I didn't want to buy a TV for a house I just moved into. I'm glad I did because I have over 11,000 dvds and I don't want to buy cable , I'm off the grid. The video I shot of Jennifer Lopez/selena was at night and I have a white wall. Absolutely its the reverse feature in the dvd player, they brought that back. I like the surround sound feature in the living room. It sounds louder because of acoustics in the living room. The other two are for radio stereo feel not that much bass. I did have to play with the color and contrast and some color balance. But it looks great. The christmas photo I took at 3:00 pm and I let some sunlight come through the curtains and it still looked good. The cowboy pic i took in a different room at 12am with some christmas lights on the side and the video looks great on the wall. It's bigger in this room than in the living room, which is fine. So it does connect to wifi however my menue is a bit off but I got the DVD projector for the DVD player. I also was glad that it comes with a remote. I didn't want to change the settings manually on the DVD player this is not 1993. So I like the remote. 😁 I finally figured out how to use the mirror feature from my phone to the DVD projector and I can watch YouTube on the wall and not in my phone. So that's awesome. The phone does have to be in a certain spot behind the projector or else it will glitch It doesn't work with DVD blue rays but it's says that on the product. I tried a DVD plus and it didn't work. So only regular dvds 📀. I would recommend getting the warranty because anything can happen to the DVD projector. I like the stand it comes with it's very handy because all you need to do is set it on any table and you can adjust the frame. You must refocus overtime you move it. I like how the menu pops up because that helps get it into focus in the front Lens with the words. If you were glasses you must but them on to get a good clear crisp picture. I reminds me of the drive in's when I was a child. I would like for them to update on how we put in the DVD because it doesn't slide in. You have to but the DVD in like a old fashion cd player. People i feel are not use to that anymore. The model can be a little more quieter but I know regular tvs make that noise. Over all I like this invention it came to me on time and I can move the DVD projector to any room , that's amazing. I like the bag it comes it because it's easy to carry it to any gathering. I bought this on a whim and it worked out for me. I can continue buying dvds abd stay off the grid and save money. Thanks Amazon for your help. It sounds new when I bought it two weeks ago no one else had it in person in the stores for me. It feels like dvds made a comeback and I like it. I always wanted my own movie theater. 🥰 The shipping was great , on time and good packaging. All the parts were in there. This is a good evolution of dvd players. I've been through a lot of them over the years and this is the best one by far.

Unbelievable for the price
I just got this today so it is a bit premature to review it so quickly but I can always come back and update + or - later. I'm currently at a steady 5 stars. For the price there is only one con so I'll get that out of the way now (and it's not really a serious one). I couldn't connect my JBL Flip 4 to it and the only possible issue I came up with is the speaker's version of Bluetooth. This projector recognizes BT 5.0 and sure enough, my Flip 4 is only BT 4.x. So there it is. The projector DID discover my 2 soundbars which are in different rooms. So when the time comes to settle on where to actually use this, I'll have one of those systems BT'ed just fine. (FYI, I ended up connecting the Flip 4 with a spare 3.5 mm cable to the projector. This is why I have a large drawer full of so called useless cords and cables!) Onto the pros: Lightweight and includes a decent, what appears to be water resistant zippered case. Nice touch! The remote control (which requires 2 AAA batteries that are not included) has more buttons than I'll ever use, but the pause and play, the volume up/down, menu, set up and zoom (yes! You can zoom in and zoom back out all you want!) buttons are all right there and those will be used often. Setup was seamless and took all of 5 minutes, if that. Since I was eager to try it out right away, the unit is (very) temporarily set up on the dining room table, and without a proper screen to project to - just a blank painted white wall. I think a good quality screen will bring out even more clarity - but it's almost not necessary! TBD. I had it positioned about 6.5 feet from the wall and somehow, when I turned it on, that distance was perfect. The projector "screen" measurements were roughly 6' W by 3' H. I have not changed the position, and will be playing with it more later. It's compact enough to move it anywhere, anytime and that's a welcomed convenience. The package included a sturdy tripod - a real bonus! That will spare the user all kinds of aggravation. Have you ever tried getting a projector level? Top, bottom, left and right without one? I have. It's nearly impossible. I popped in my home recorded DVD of "Pat Garrett and Billy The Kid" and was impressed with how nice the picture was: very good contrast and really good color (especially considering how old that movie is!) And remember, I'm only projecting onto a bare wall. If you're unable to connect your sound source via Bluetooth, there are alternate methods. As with my Flip 4, the sole option is to use a 3.5 mm cable. For other speakers, there are 2 HDMI ports. Also, if you have an Amazon Fire or Roku stick, you can use their Bluetooth sound setups. I haven't tried that yet. My Parting Words: If you're thinking of getting a bigger screen TV, as I was, first consider going the route of this projector before spending hundreds of dollars. While I had never heard of this manufacturer before, I'm enough impressed right out of the gate that I may soon go up another notch in quality - they have quite a line.

Halloween Window Projection Decoration
I'll get the obvious out of the way, this 5 star rating is based on what I used it for; on a small consumer budget and not to compare it with the high-end business/corporate projector industry (no need to give them a shameless plug). This is an extremely affordable home projector that more than exceeded my expectations and has already paid for itself based on my purpose of purchase. I used it to project fun and creepy Halloween videos on our front porch window to add animation and sound for our trick-or-treaters. I had my projector and laptop inside the house while rear-projecting (rear-projection mode is supported) on an inexpensive white shower curtain (less than $10) that I tacked up around the inside window and I used a portable Bluetooth speaker (which easily pairs with the projector) outside and it worked fantastic for the entire evening with no downtime. NOTE: I did need to spend time editing videos and create the loop sequence I was happy with, but this has nothing to do with the quality of projector. I compared the price of the projector to some of the cool animatronic decorations we see many neighbours have and for the cost of one of the mid-high end decorations I was able to do roughly the same with much more creative control and debatably a better overall multi-use decoration (yes I already owned a laptop and Bluetooth speaker so that helped reduce the overall cost of the effect). All that and I still have a projector that I can use year-round for other seasonal holidays or movie nights compared to a single Halloween decoration that I would have to store until next year. I have not used the CD option other than to verify that it does work when I tested it but I do plan of using it. I knew what I wanted from this projector and for the price, it did not disappoint me. Easily a 5 Star purchase.

Region 0/ free
Was skeptical when I read that a person in Canada said that the projector played region free, because they use the same region as the USA. I ordered this one and a definite region free one, I am pleased to say that it played my region 2 (UK) dvds which is fantastic as I have loads of them. I also tried the usb and it played the mp4, I have not tried the AVI format as most files in that format generally do not work (even on our TV) the sound is good but some of the DVDS were a little quiet, I did try the projector indoors and the picture quality was good but I was 3 feet away from a wall. I will try it outside as we have not decided if we need a screen or Bluetooth speaker yet, I will post a further review on this, lastly the difference between the 201 and the 201s is that the 201s is wirelessly connected to your iPad/phone/android device and with the 201 you need a lightning connector. Until I find my connector I cannot review that but it’s an extra $60 for the S and you can pick up the lightning connector for around $20-$30 so not sure if it’s worth it (at present) But for the price!! It’s a great piece of kit. Update 4/10/23 Okay so after trying out the projector outside a couple of times the volume is not that great so I found a cheap 10 watt Bluetooth speaker from Amazon and not only did it connect straight away the speaker is a great addition to the viewing experience. If you want to watch live tv, Prime, Disney etc then you will need to invest in a Roku or Apple stick to do so, after research on the whole protected content thing I found that the HDMI splitters were not capable of breaking the content notice.
