I work in home health therapy, and I’m always looking for toys that keep my patients engaged while encouraging communication, labeling, and imaginative play. These have worked incredibly well for getting kids talking and interacting. The product itself holds up really well. A few kids have thrown them, and they still haven’t cracked or broken. They’re also a safe size for younger children. The guidebook is especially helpful when kids can’t think of what to build or get tired of making the same things repeatedly. It helped encourage a lot of general concepts, descriptive language, creativity, and imaginative play during sessions. They’re great for independent play, but even better when paired with animal toys so kids can build homes, habitats, or scenes for them. I would definitely recommend getting two sets, or an additional set with more shapes, because pieces run out pretty quickly when both the child and therapist are building together. If you enjoy playing alongside your child, or if you have multiple children using them, ordering more than one box is absolutely worth it.

This set gave me almost an hour of “me time”. It’s perfect, but get qty two of the basic set so you have an even amount of colors of your toddler cares about having a full yellow “house” of 6 tiles, otherwise you only get three yellow squares per set, for example. My kid (2.5 years old) could not get the hang of magnatiles and it would cause meltdown tantrums. These are just awesome and gave me an evening of peaceful enjoyment while she just played and played by herself, never once asking for me to join or asking me for help or just crying because she couldn’t work with the pieces. Also, she likes to build houses and have her figurines go in and out of the houses. They are relatively smallish, with a roof on top it would be the size of an iPhone 13. Anyways, the doorways would fit tiny 1” “weeble wobble” type toys perfectly, plus they never fall down inside the house so another tantrum avoided!! Anyways, love this set, get qty 2 if you can! We did not get a set with doors, maybe eventually but legit my toddler did not need it.

You can just move along and let them connect and take them to your storage area.
