Comfy roomy shirt for a woman-ish creature
Hard to believe this shirt is so good at the price. It's roomy, comfortable, and effective at blocking the sun, which is very important in the sun-blasted hole of a desert where I live. I'm on medication that makes me sensitive to sunlight, so I'm always looking for ways to keep it off of me without just crawling into a hole for four months, a la an abandoned mine (do not recommend). This has now gotten me through a couple of hikes without any burning, and I didn't even have to grease my entire body with sunblock for it. The shirt feels a little warm when there is no wind. I imagine it's the tight knit of of the fibers. As long as the air is moving, it feels very cool. It is well-made without any dangling strings or loose hems on arrival. It washes well without any color fading, and I think the baby blue I got is pretty. The hood makes it more versatile, because I can also switch to the hood if I'm not feeling in a hat mood for whatever reason. I love the long sleeves covering my hands to the knuckles. There are thumb holes to hold them in place. Although I am ostensibly a female woman human, I think it looks pretty cute on me too. The long hem sits on my hips well.
